Watching that little girl @ 24:20 standing so close to the horse was absolutely nerve racking, especially when the horse started to move it's front hoof... Some adults have no common sense whatsoever to have ever allowed it!!!
It was scary but I got the impression the horse was very aware of her and was trying to step away from her a bit, she was too close! I noticed the gunner was too, her expression changed and she was watching closely. Common sense isn’t very common anymore!🙀😳🐎❤️
Ignorant and entitled. Wow. BUT The parents of the little girl with the red coat win the worst parents award. These horses are more skittish than the Household Cavalry ones.
I have come to conclusion, these ppl that are disrespectful, not following requests,by the police and guards, should get a citation of some sort, scolding and being spoke to kindly don't work, try something else, citations would maybe hinder these ppl
I use to love watching. But I just can't handle the disrespect these stupid people show to the guard's and horses. That is not a petting zoo. And those guards are on duty... people grow up and learn some respect and manners. I can't take it any longer sorry. Sooooo saaaad.
I have to agree with your comment. It is becoming a joke now. I find it hard to believe that nobody can stop this beautiful tradition of the guarding of our monarch's property becoming a circus. The ignorant few are not only making the horses more prone to bite by forcing their hands into it's face, but that is surely why some of these animals bite. Also personal space is key for any beings right whether animal or human. I do hope the MoD can come up with a solution. More visible policing controlling the crowds would be a start. For a military facility, the public have too much access to horse and guard. Just watch this makes me want to shout at the screen. I am going to try and write to our government after the general election to see if the MoD can do anything to sort something out. Probably a complete waste of time, but I think it's a start. I am already in touch with my MP over a personal issue, so I will give him something to think about.
Surely the guards should be telling those tourists to let go. That first one could plainly see her but did nothing. Just sends out a message that anything is allowed and take no notice of the sign. They’ll be lifting their kids onto the horses next and the guards will do sweet fa!!
Also, seems the boxes should be cleaned of excrement when a horse uses the bathroom. Horses do not like to stand in it. I truly believe a horse was misbehaving radically one time when there was a lot he had to stand in and he was rebelling big time.
Slight improvement on the risk assessment observations. People are behaving themselves more, however, there still exists quite a high level of risk. It doesn't take much for a horse, even purposely trained for volatile crowd situations, to respond normally to stimuli in a threatening incident. The tourists, other pedestrians or anyone close are, as it were, in the firing line. It's great for tourism, friendly interactions etc., however, I still can't see how this would pass official risk assessments, even for the fact that the police and soldiers accept the dangers of their occupation. Tourists etc., should also understand their responsibilities under occupational and safety laws (OHS). Yes, this applies to work space safety but pretty much everywhere is someone's or another's work space even for all the holiday makers, sight seerers, social media responders etc., swelling the ranks.
It seems it would be of a benefit if the Guards on the boxes had some sort of way to communicate? Such as “watch out for someone dropping apples or giving apples to the horses”. Or “a drunk guy just cursed me out for no reason and is heading your way”. Etc. I am sure with all the Brits cool technology they could figure out some way of inconspicuously giving them a communication system for urgency of course not just to spend the time chit chatting. 😊
I had wondered about that so did some checking, and they roach (or hog as they say in England) because of the type of harnesses they wear when pulling the artillery wagons. 🙂
If I were there and the Bus pulled in, I would have to leave because I have zero filters left and would start yelling at them for being rude and obnoxious! I’m sorry but everyone needs to play by the rules and acting shocked and laughing doesn’t cut it. 🪬🧿🤦🏼♀️🧿🪬
Why am I not surprised at this disrespect and ignorance?? It’s just sad!!!
Porque los vemos cada ves más a menudo, los turistas son muy irrespetuosos.
It's PATHETIC
Perhaps because it's happening more and more, and there are very few repercussions no matter what the tourists do. 😖

The new horses are absolutely gorgeous. 🇺🇸❤️🇬🇧
Absolutely stunning horses 💖
So predictable, you can count on these visitors to have at least one in the group to keep up the expectation. Still, it was a cool day wasn’t it? 😻🐎❤️
Tourists in the courtyard were pushed back earlier than tourists in the front.

That policeman is not very observant, to his right side. The Chinese must not speak English. They're always the worst ones up there.

I have to give this bunch some credit...about 90% kept their distance and didnt touch the horse.

Those two new Royal Artillery bay horses are gorgeous, and what a fine uniform. ❤
Why did the Guard not say ANYTHING when the woman grabbed the reins? 😡😡😡
Oh yummy
The second Hussar's horse is beautiful, but I wish they hadn't hogged his mane and forelock, it gives no protection from flies.
