본인은 1972년 국기원 오픈닝 시범단 창립 멤버로서 뉴욕에 국기원 시범단이 온다는 소식을 듣고 기뻐했다.
모든 공연 하는사람들의 꿈이 타임스퀘어 에서 하는게 꿈이다. 우리 뉴욕오픈 조직위원에 서는 뉴욕 시청과의 교류를 통해 즉각 하락을 받아 세계의 태권도 를 세계 관광객이 많은 이곳에서 우리 후배들이 기량을 마음껏 펼치게 해 주었다.
또한 BTS 공연한 장소이기도 하다.
