Mars might be using older molds. I have seen Italeri in 72nd scale so clean there is almost no need to touch them. I have not seen as much from Mars. Alliance is also available from PMS, and they are sort of in between. The main detail I will mention is PMS is out of Kyiv. Hardly what I call a safe place. They have better prices than anywhere else on the planet. Better shipping than anywhere else on the planet. I'm In Ontario Canada, and I can't get a decent deal from a chain of stores in Ontario not more than 45 minutes from my home. I am sad they don't market Tamiya and Italeri. But I have found the UM makes good 72nd scale items. I bought a 35th scale Churchill AVRE from AFV Club that was so cheap it felt like robbery. I have only recently discovered their CZcams channel. I agree, the Mars figures look a little like a lot of work to clean up. But I'm used to making Airfix Classics too :) You buy old, you get old. You buy from Amazon and you get to pay 25-30 bucks for a 9 dollar set from the source in Ukraine. I have been grabbing about 2-3 purchases a month from PMS for about 1-2 years now. I'd buy those figures willingly.
How would you rate the quantity, and are the mold lines bad?
Id rate it somewhere around 5 maybe 4 rangers in particular gave me problems i had to paint them 7 times because paint for some reason dont adhese properly with them and there is only one 1 thompson in firing position when someone else who reviewed them recived 4 poses

These figures look flashy and quiet chunky.The detail on the weapons looks kinda bad even for this small scale.The Airfix marines set is better I think.
The 1/32 versions are much better. Superior quality
