Man City : âI can pay you 1B to erase all those charges?â
EPL : âDealâ
30 million* đ
âââ@@owim4737u rlly think the board of epl just suddenly came with this rule there must have been some sort of corruption and money laundering for coming up with a rule
Again.these charges are just rumors.if there were any charges action could have already happened
â@@ryankwatemba4071they are in fact not rumors they are charges and they have still yett to be judged
@@ryankwatemba4071118 charges are just rumours???Even if that is true city has atleast 20 charges which still are enough to relegate them.
this is one of the worst new rules ive ever seen
its the greatest rule
@@106. ur delusional
Money is the only reason why Premier League is strong. They can't rely on domestic talent since England is the most overrated football nation ever, so they have to buy everyone.
Explain how
@@106. city fan
Even as a City fan I think this is one of the worst rules ever that they could introduce
I wanted city to win the case but this rule will just make our image worse
Yeah same
And everyone will blame the rule on us
Why
idc if you are mancity fan since 1950, i still let you know: you are supporting a bunch of cheater
mancity was literally cheating itself to a bunch of trophies
"Luxury tax" they aren't even trying to it anymore đ
absolute masterclass from the premier league
No it's not
This rule will mean that only PL clubs will win CLs cause there is no spending cap and the other leagues will way behindâ@@KyleJuman34-pl1cd
â@KyleJuman34-pl1cd NOOOOOOOOOOO

This isn't an actual thing BTW
Then Everton and Nottingham should be cleared from these charges and points should be given back to them
Why?? They broke the rules, they singed up for
Then what about city đâ@@mocko9912
@@mocko9912because city havenât been punished for similar charges? If the new rules donât pardon previous breaches and city get punished, itâs fine.

Football is dead
Everybody is focusing on Man City.
But, Newcastle could go CRAZY with their investment.
Dude. Newcastle would cook everybody. đČ
As a Newcastle fan, I donât mind at all, but yeah itâs a weird rule.
It's not good but not bad for some of the other clubs who would gain cash
FIFA: bribe me publicly so there is no shady business
I bet this is going to be the same with Chelsea
as a city fan, i will quote drogba "it's a disgrace"
It's not a bad rule.

This is one of the worst things to ever be mentioned to want to be added... I'll finish the Drogba quote for you... " Its a f*king disgrace!"
â @@MoonbaconI agree tho. This system would raise the PLâs standards and make it a bigger international threat
But only a 30 mil fine after spending half a billion pounds? THAT is beyond absurd

According to this rule Chelsea can just spend âŹ2bn this summer and only pay âŹ80m in fines
And still be mid table
â@@cristi.5at best
Absolutely not bro if this is introduced I will be mad
Just when we thought we had enough of the Premier League having too much money compared to the other leagues.
This rule wouldnât affect past charges, as they occurred under the old rules
The Prem also specifically said if City are found guilty they will 100% be relegated
Stop click baiting
It's like rules for parking. They only apply to poor people. Rich will just pay a fine and call it parking fee. The world we live in sucks.
As an Everton fan, I've had enough of the bigger clubs getting what they what and spending over 300 million each year where as small clubs spend 30 million and get docked points đąđ”
as a city fan, this is rubbish and we should be charged

At this stage, the PL has lost credibility when it comes to their rules.
We only have 115 charges actually
Newcastle be like:
Man city always get favoured
And Chelsea
Chelsea be like : đ€«
If this happens the prem would be a warzone
Why would that rule affect past breaches? They breached completely different rules and as such would be punished accordingly if anything is found I would imagine
A legend once said. "ITS A DIGRACE! A DISGRACE!.
so it's not even a farmers league anymore it's literally the money league atp
as a chelsea fan i see this as an absolute win
luxury tax, what next, serenity tax???
That rule defeats the entire purpose of FFP.
That's why it will literally never happen
The Premier League will be destroyed by this rule.
RIP integrity in football
I think it's like last year, keep playing and collect as much as you can. It's all about staying in the game đčïž
ngl if this goes through may as well ban PL clubs from all european competitions due to breaching FFP.
The fact that this is even considered is sad. It just shows how corrupt the PL is
Give the points back and I'll be okay with the changeđĄ
Best news ever
i think they should get charged and this new rule should be introduced, if a club spends more than they should, that means all the other clubs get there money too
Football is just money now for Uefa and Fifa
The league is gonna turn into few rich clubs winning everything if this is passed
They should be punished with the rules as they were while they broke them, simple.
They arenât even trying to hide the fact they are catering towards the big teams like: Man City, Man United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham. This is cos they make tv broadcast companies like Sky the most money so they have a reason to keep the best teams (that make the most money) at the top by allowing for them to sign the best players. The only teams I could see making that next step is teams like Newcastle and Aston Villa .
I think if it's going to be more lucrative for the big clubs and the F.A. it's pretty certain.
1 charge = 1 fine
118 charges = 118 fines
đ
even as a Chelsea fan it's a disgrace. on behalf of Chelsea football club, i would like to apologise to other football fans and clubs for Chelsea's financial irregularities, and we would like to call on the premier league to punish us fairly
Hell nah, weâre 9th. Who cares?!
@@xxstnickyboi5606 well with the way we've been playing, we might as well be in league 2
Changing the rules now doesnât erase the punishment from the rules they broke years ago, thatâs not how it works at all.
These teams are connected to head of states , they pay 30 million to rent a home for a night đ
It reminds me of when someone else gets in trouble but when someone else does the exact same thing it's harmless
The pl is ruined anyway
Only way this works is if championship clubs get a portion of the tax as well. Maybe 20 for prem clubs 10 for championship. Itâs already become hard for established teams to be relegated from the prem, this would make it so the championship top 3 and prem bottom 3 are all yoyo clubs. Fulham and Norwich x3
No it won't. They won't reapply that rule back years to when it wasn't a rule. The charges are already in progress. All it means is after that they can spend and pay a luxury tax
The premier league is a joke. Itâs basically a game between billionaires at this point
Literally beats the blue card in being a dumb rule ngl.
Sounds like a rule city proposed to the Premier league due to their financial power
It was wanted by Nottingham Forest and Everton. In a way the rule will help smaller clubs. It will allow them to spend money and compete with the bigger clubs without getting points deductions like Forest and Everton.
So why would other clubs listen to City? Apparently yâall hate us, so how can we possibly propose this rule and everyone goes along with it? Make it make sense
â@@libby4608never in my life heard a manc say yall born and raised here for 36 years. She says "yall".
Im a newcastle fan, even i dont want this rule to exist.. itll turn the epl into a monopoly and itll kill the entire league
City are accused of breaking the rules at the time. Changing the rules in the future doesnât change thatâŠ
Doesnât matter because city wonât be charged for anything itâs all corrupt
That is why nobody likes the team. Just shows how dirty and greedy the world is.
Money talks đ€
I think it's a good idea, find the current rules a bit daft, Manchester City clearly have the money so they are at no risk of going bankruot so why shouldn't they be allowed to spend what they want?
I think the rule should be changed so that the tax is equal to the money u overspend. For example if u overspend 100mio u have to pay 100mio which are divided among all other prem clubs
Just when I thought they were going to hand over last season's league title to Arsenal.
That's one thing I don't want city to be charged for
@@frozenturbo8623 why?
this is so unfair
Luxury Tax works in Baseball...only issue is the tax has to be high enough to balance the competition.
The English Super League is starting to reveal itself.
I disagree. FFP means the richest clubs will always succeed. This rule means that other clubs, such as Newcastle, can get investors and then become successful, meaning there will be more league winners rather than a monopoly of clubs
Make sure your accountâs loaded on 4 RABBIT, wouldn't want a tech glitch ruining your chance at that BMW đ ïž

I think this ugly little bubble will eventually pop as teams race to spend as much as they can, and ultimately after they fail, since what matters is tactics and players.
Those teams could go bankrupt.
Except that when there is a judgment, it's the law at the moment of the infraction that counts
Could be chaos but the prem could be fun bc there will be more world class players in the prem
They need to make the penalty more than the actually cost spent by the team
This is absolute bullshit. This would only really punish the small clubs but for the big clubs this would be like nothing
If thatâs the case, why is Everton and Forest still given points deduction but not Man City and Chelsea?
As a city fan, I think we should have the punishment/s (if weâre proven guilty) and then the rule comes in.
Football is becoming more and more of profit making business instead of football.
Talk about friends in high places. And everyone calls Pep the GOAT coach when they do whatever they want
