We have been using the Mi Band 3 for a couple of weeks now and this is our Mi Band 3 review, where we also compare the Mi Band 3 vs Mi Band 2.

Are you even gonna talk about accuracy of sleep tracking, HR Sensor, and pedometer of Band 3 as compared to Band 2? Did you see any improvements in these areas? We want a Fitness freaking band not a smartwatch.

I love my mi band. I use it with my mix 2 so I haven't noticed any compatibility issues. I mostly got it for notifications and vibration alarms which I think this thing does great. I really like the control over which apps can send notifications that you can access through the fit app. And the battery life is awesome. I just wanted a simple thing to tell me the time, show me a few texts, and buzz when I get calls and that's exactly what this thing does. My only gripes are the limited number of watch faces and the automatic wakeup feature doesn't always register when I lift my wrist. Even when it does work, it generally takes a beat or two before turning on which definitely gets annoying.

The price of miband2 in this review is wrong or bias. Miband2's price really is very very cheap.
Bernard Tan let me tell you, you may got confused between mi band 2 1699 which has heart rate sensor and Mi band 2 hrx edition 1200 without 💓 sensor.

i think you saw this device first time, if we pull it from front the strap tears off, that's why its good to read instructions first.
Got it yesterday from an online shop and I'm really impressed with it. Apart from all the features it packs it also feels really will put together and the design is super clean.
Taking it out of the silicone strap is a pain though... Wish it could've been charged without taking it out of the strap. But will it'll last for at least 18-20 days I don't have to go through that too often.

I am glad you gave us 4k close-ups right at the start as it makes it obvious how easy the new curvy design gets scratched! I think I will stick to my MB2. It has survived for over a year without picking up any (easily visible) scratches with its flat face design. Thanks for the review though.

You never talked about the stuff that Xiaomi would never tell:
Like how's the heart rate sensor accuracy, or how was your experience wearing it instead of an old school Quartz watch; or like would you wear this "smart band" instead of a typical analog watch; or how about comparing it with other fitness bands in approximately same price range instead of comparing it with it's own last gen...

You should emphasise on its imperfections as well as the things it's really good at...

Can you tell how did u locked mi band 3 ? As whenever the part comes which shows something physically with mi band 3 then you swipe up once and then you get access to the menu and a lock icon also comes beside the icon showing that Bluetooth not connected

I have the honor band 3. I'm looking to change because the biggest problem with it is you can't backup your sleep/fitness data at all. So if you change your phone or do a format, everything is gone. At least Mi has cloud backup

I have been using it since yesterday..As it got launched on 28th September n I got it on 29th..It is pretty much cool to use..N best bet compared to smart watches too in my opinion as far as cost effectiveness n functionality is concerned.
