I'm only 23 years old, which as far as I know it's about 35 years younger than most Bee Gees fans, but I just can't stop listening to this band of amazing brothers(including Andy of course!), and this piece is the exact reason why Main Course is and always will be my favorite Bee Gees album, there's just something about that perfect harmony and how unique each of their voices are, I think Fanny would be the best example of that as you can hear a lot more of Maurice, he really deserved to lead more of their songs and I'm saying that as a "Robin biased" fan, and THAT is how brilliant I think Mo's voice was, RIP Robin, Maurice and Andy, you guys were the best and had made this chaotic world a much better place!
I’m so glad you appreciate the Bee Gees. They really were incredible. Don’t just listen to the music, watch their interviews. Their personalities were so fun! Robin was my favorite. They were very unique and special. My kids just turned 23 (twins), so I know how young you are. ☺️ I’m 61 years young.

To me this is the saddest song. Not because of the words but because what it reminds me of. My sister Karen had been killed in a car accident and I hadn’t played any music for a few days. When I went to the record player I found the this record. It had been the last one she had played before she died.
There’s nothing I mean nothing, that compares to the harmony of brothers singing as one… Just mind boggling, how much control with there unbelievable voices.. There music will always be relevant till the end of time!!
So many people talk about the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, yes the best of the best, but for me the Bee Gees Definitely rank in the top three, you pick the order, I know mine and I know who had the best harmonys

Blew my mind when I heard it in 1975. I knew the Bee Gees were BACK and would change the face of music forever. Barry led the songwriting of one of the greatest bands that will ever live. These songs will be played a hundred years from now,.... and people will try to copy the techniques.
Bee Gees were a big part of my youth. Even though I was only 12 to13 yrs old when this song came out in the mid 70s, still fresh in my memory. Great songs never fade away. Awesome
The Bee Gees were put into a box when they came out with SNF soundtrack. It launched them into stardom, however putting them in that (disco) box was unfortunate because they are far greater than the box. Their harmonies are incredible, songwriting off the charts, and performances make them one of the top greatest bands of all time. Thank you for sharing this video. I absolutely love this song.
They wrote hits in the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90, & 00s. They wrote Country , R & B, Funk, Pop, Rock, and Disco hits for over 30 other artists. Oh yeah, then they had a "few hits" themselves. Anyone who puts them down is ignorant. They surpassed their onetime idols, the Beatles.
I came here for my Fanny fix, I can't get enough of this song, it is perfection. My best friend and I used to turn it up in my dad's car lol and sing our hearts out.

The Bee Gees wrote so many great tunes, and this one is just so very special. The chord progressions, the vocal harmonies, the key changes, they are all just so seamless and beautiful.
These guys put out so many. On top of that you never really knew who was singing what. They gelled perfect. What a group. They made falsetto what it is.

I remember as a kid going to dances with my parents,aunt and uncle, and cousins.They always played this song and our parent's would slow dance to this song. Every time I hear this,it takes me back to those times and that my divorced parent's really did love each other,at one time❤
The Main Course Album was their best in my opinion & Fanny Be Tender is one of my Favorite Songs, along with Baby As You Turn Away, Nights On Broadway etc… This Album is full of great Songs!! ❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏😊👍🏼
I love Maurice's voice. I always thought that was Barry's. That he could sing at a lower octave. I definitely want to pick out more of his parts. One of my favorite groups of all time and a favorite song in particular.

I love Maurice's voice. I always thought that was Barry's. That he could sing at a lower octave. I definitely want to pick out more of his parts. One of my favorite groups of all time and a favorite song in particular.
