I don't understand the mindset of people not wanting to see a clean and up kept neighborhood, it's as if they enjoy living in filth.
My grandma had a neighbor just down the street from her house who had a mountain of dirt brought in to his front yard so people couldn’t see what he was doing in or out of the house. He then planted various kinds of trees on the mound and all over the front yard so he wouldn’t have to mow (no grass, no mowing). He passed away a couple years ago. His wife was deceased and his kids had nothing to do with him because of his abuse. He was a mean drunk. His body laid in the house for about three weeks because no one knew he was deceased. One of his drinking buddies called the police to check up on the guy and the smell from the decomposition allowed them to break into the house. The city condemned the property, and the deceased’s kids had all the trees and the dirt mountain removed. Yep, there is no explaining some thought processes (you can’t fix stupid).

No matter how good someone thinks their intentions of their heart is, respect of boundaries is still paramount. If he didn't get an invitation and permission from the owner of the property, then he has no right to be there doing any work on it, simply put. Plus, why do you want to know what this guy is hiding in the yard ? You're a typical busybody, you are part of what's wrong in this society. Whatever he had in the backyard, I'm sure it doesn't concern you. Mind your own business.

I enjoy watching your video's, you do excellent work! A couple of personnel comments: 1. When they do/if demo the home the crew will be able to see where they are walking & moving equipment. 2. The mowing makes the neighborhood look fantastic. 3. Mowing makes the land more valuable to a future buyer as they won't have the expense of cleaning up the yard, this makes the value increase thus earning those selling it more $$.

Your work and dedication is outstanding to see. I’m sure the neighbors were very happy to see the property looking this good. People need to realize a well kept property, makes the value go up. As you said, who knows if the man actually owns the property??? But, you did a fantastic job, making the whole neighborhood look better. It says how much of an impact you had in the neighborhood, when someone flagged you down to ask you to do a home a second time. Very good. A house now being officially condemned should have no change in status, in that if it is causing harm by rodents, bugs, appearance it still a candidate for a cleanup to aid the other residents. I remember the trees and carport and how you left the place looking neat and nice the first round. Actually some of your earlier work still held.

Marcus, if in doubt about a particular properties ownership, go to that county's assessor office and conduct a search. Many times, with a more sophisticated office, searches can be done online. BTW, that property did clean up well!

I have gas but the gas lines are always buried. My grass is cut and no one has hit my gas line. You must be a magician to hit a buried gas line😂😂. They're buried deep enough so hitting or tripping over it won't happen. I guess your mower cuts and dig, wow how unique 😂😂

I would very much complain if someone thought that they had the "God-given right" to take it upon themselves to just walk on my property and start rearranging things and doing work on it without my invitation and permission just because the condition of the landscape of my own property doesn't fit their fancy as to what they constitute as aesthetically beautiful. If it's not your property then it's not your business, simply put. The fact of the matter is that people need to mind their own business and respect boundaries. That's what's lacking and what's wrong with people in this culture and society nowadays.

So many good points. The SCAG mower did such a nice job cutting the lawn, edging really cleaned up the curb, trimming around everything very professional. The way you handled the interaction with the gentleman was very polite, even though you had no idea who he was. If he was the homeowner, he would have come right over to you and not spied on you before approaching you. He handled that noticed you handed too casually, really did not look at it that hard, for a person whose house is condemned and is going to be torn down. Might have seen if that one neighbor who knew you was around and see if he had any idea who the gentleman was. Overall, well done on the lawn.

Ppl are crazy. I was doing a mulch install no mowing equipment. My client’s neighbor came over to me. She hasn’t even hired me to mow her yard. The neighbor started when you mow this yard so not blow their clippings on to my yard. It wasn’t irrigated or fertilized. I was nice and said I’m just here to install mulch. You did good brother and I think he was the squatter.
