That was great. I have not been over 10,000 ft in mine but, we also don't have the Alps anywhere near...I'm looking forward to some mountain flying this summer in the Western US. That's a beautiful backyard you have there for flying.

Flying over the mountains is always great, not very important the height- I flew over Meteore in Greece, very low monolites with ancient monasteres built on tops, but a wonderful sight

Very nice flight. Nevertheless wondering why you did not use oxygen over FL130. We are asked to use oxygen >FL100 after 30min and at all times over FL130. Bristol 915 is not pressurised, or is it?

Hi, Reto. To answer your clever question: the need for Oxygen related to a date height isn't a fixed boundary. As a doctor and climber, I have some notions about this matter. For somebody with lung or heart problems, even 7000 ft can require oxygen, for people accustomed to climb or skying on high mountains, 13000/14000 feet ( especially for a not too long period) aren't a problem: climbing on Matterhorn or Monte bianco, to make an example, requires concentration as well as piloting, may be more, but climbers do not carry oxygen, the same for skiers that go to Plateau rosa or those that practice eliski. So, the limits are an useful indication but can be very different from one person to another. Anyway I have Oxygen system on my aircraft and I use it when needed. Good evening

What is the maximum speed on 915 ? and normal cruise speed?

Maximum speed with Bristell fixed gear is 140 Kt sea level and 154 at FL 120, I also tried at FL 180 max speed is 165 Kt
