The R33 GTR is such an underrated car. Considering how "limited" the body modifications are compared to some of the other time attack cars, that is an extremely fast time. The CT9A that ran 50 secs is so very far from stock exterior as virtually all exterior panels were replaced.

Can someone tell me why all the fastest time attack car have no rear diffuser but they do have gigantic front and rear wing, im sure a tune diffuser would help tremendously

Downforce is everything on track ..so bigger spoiler better downforce

With all the front & back wing, it has no diffuser... Not enough time to make one perhaps? 😉

It looks like a fairly basic aero set up. No side skirts either which would lead me to believe there's no flat under floor either which would make a rear diffuser much less effective anyway.

@@toddxhiggins yep it's Bando-san's first season with this car and it's currently in development. It's crazy to think that it is this fast already. Considering what his last car looked like, the now retired AutoBahn Soarer, this will be the car to watch.
I guess this is what modern turbo and engine technology can do. Japan always lacks a little behind in modernizing. I guess the WTAC attendees from a couple of years ago shocked them into adapting. 😂

@@R3IMU I believe the soarer isn't retired. Just getting big upgrades like going full carbon fiber body so that's why it wasn't out this season. It's expected to be back again next year.
