- Amazing duel between young Kevin Johnson (great Suns team with Chambers, Hornacek, West, Kevin Johnson, Eddie Johnson, Majerle and Gilliam) and experienced Magic Johnson with his showtime Lakers. Great run'n'gun game with two point-guards leading the way.
Magic Johnson: 25 points, 19 assists, 8/18 FG.
Kevin Johnson: 30 points, 21 assists, 11/16 FG.
Lakers won the game 134:122.
(this two teams eventually met in that years conference finals, Lakers swept the series 4-0 and went on to lose the finals 4-0 against ''Bad Boys'' Pistons)

@@LOL-ro9ef I never said he wasn't great. KJ was great. I just find the word "beast" to be way overused, as it should be reserved for the likes of a Shaquille O'Neal, or at least a Dwight Howard. A big massive guy w/ tons of power. Something Andrew Bynum would've been if not for injuries. KJ to me was a tenacious point guard, as great of a dual threat one in terms of slash & dish in his prime, as has ever been. He & CP3 are about the same level and similar style, if prime vs. prime.
