Make sure you get those all tested at least yearly. Nothing worse than going for a fire extinguisher, and only then realizing it doesn’t work for whatever reason. They have prescribed maintenance cycles, and it is extremely important to follow them to the letter.
As a licensed fire extinguisher tech please do not remove the safety seals it is there to keep them from accidentally being bumped because even being bumped a little even if the powder does not come out it can lose all the compressed nitrogen and then will not work in the case of a fire if you would like I can send you new safety seals to reinstall they are made to brake easy by twisting the pin when you actually need it just let me know if you would like new ones hate to see you loose the lovely homestead
Never break the tamper seal unless there is a fire. The tamper seal is there so the pin does not come out and accidentally discharge. In order to break the seal in a emergency you can just pull the pin hard but if you are having trouble, you can twist the pin then pull it out.
Good stuff. Had an electrical fire in my car about 3 years back and luckily was near a gas station that had available fire extinguishers. Don’t go anywhere without one now.
Fun fire safety fact: Most fire extinguishers, like these seem to be, are ABC extinguishers. A type fires are common flammable things like wood, grass, paper, plastic, ect. B is oils, flammable liquids, ect. C is machinery or computer parts. D is flammable metals like batteries. And for some reason the last type is K, for kitchen fire.
Where I work, we gotta keep 2 of those, checked and tested every year, at all times. I've never had to use one, but It's a great thing to know you have them around.
The home improvement store I worked at was clearancing out sets of fire extinguishers, a 10lb one and a small kitchen one, for $10. My parents and I bought a bunch.
I have fire extinguishers everywhere in our home and vehicles. My spouse is paralyzed and after a dryer fire I don’t play, even though my youngest and I successfully saved our home by dragging the dryer outside, I still want to be more than prepared.

This is my favorite video so far. I’m a HUGE fire safety nerd.
Fires have NO MERCY! Being safe is far smarter than being sorry!

This is good. I'm gonna order more for my business.

When the pressures gone or its time to replace, the stuff on the inside is basically feritilizer. Spray where you need it.

Wow!! You are getting prepared, that's good! The next thing we may see is a mini Fire truck 🚒 with your logo and Minion on the side!👍😊
Those are awesome extinguishers! Perfect size and no plastic! Never had one of those fail on me. Also all American if that matters to you
They look like 10lb but happy to see you are being safe
I love Minion.
Thanks, I didn't think of that... Added to the list of needs.
Mount any extinguisher on the wall right next to a door.
