I don't think you guys have looked at anything from their 2021 album "Unseen World." Check out the videos for *"Warning!," "Manners," "After Life"* or the live (live streaming, because, you know) combination of *"Manners"* and *"Black Hole."* There are other excellent songs that don't have videos but are on their youtube channel under "Releases" in the "Unseen World" playlist. There are old-school rockers like *"I Still Seek Revenge"* or *"Chemical Reaction,"* proggy stuff like *"Giovanni"* or *"H-G-K,"* and sheer madness like *"Ambition (Honkai, 本懐)"* or the aforementioned *"Black Hole."*
That was a great reaction...apart from that little bit between 00:00 and 11:32 where you completely forget to react.
I thought I let you know who wrote the lyrics. Miku Kobato, vocals, guitar, spokespigeon she highly respected in Japan for lyrics with many who consider her a poet for the style of her writing.
It was earlier version of "Puzzle" that "set the hook" for me to become a Maidiac.

If you’re going to give Band Maid another go, I would suggest one of their instrumentals. No subtitles to bother with.

Being serious, world class musicians, they have even released fully instrumental versions of many of their tracks. It highlights the layers of musicality and complexity of their music that sometimes gets overlooked by casual listeners
Hey, I just had this awesome ham sandwich, dude!!! The bread! The meat! The cheese! I really love to chew it in time with a Band-Maid song!! Sometimes I chew on the downbeats, sometimes the offbeats!! In fact, that ham sandwich is going to DOMINATE THE WORLD!!
It's a complete PUZZLE to me why the entire rock world aren't (yet) solid Band-Maid Fans! Is there some language / cultural / sexist chauvinism going on? Is it just incompetent marketing? Is there NO GOD? to give some justice where justice is due? ;-) Luckily for them, Band-Maid continues to accelerate in creative song writing, performance, and sold-out shows worldwide.🤘🎀🤘Thx Band-Maid fans, Maidiacs, and Decade & Ocean Apart!

Puzzle is quite an old song. There’s way better live version from 2017.
No this one is much better. Kanami has worked on it a lot including writing a lot of new material for miku. Also her own part is much developed.
