As someone who spent a lot of years around aircraft engine overhauls, it's not so much where you get work done. Just don't let amateurs within a mile of aluminum cast engines. Proper torque of every bolt and stud is the ticket to success or a gateway to disaster for the careless.
@@gregedmand9939 word. I have dealt with many, many old used cars that I purchased specifically because they were broken, so that I could fix them myself (and sold every single one of them with profit), but the horrendous amount of time that I have spent fixing problems because of stripped threads, due to overtorqued bolts, is absolutely ridiculous!! Actually, all of my problems were exactly that, stripped aluminium threads! Leaky gaskets are not solved by additional torque to the bolts that hold it together! 100% of the times just makes it worse! But this is the kind of cheap "fixes" that the absolute animals that call themselves "mechanics" do.
@@JohnWiku One of the biggest screw up's I have seen were due to guys owning torque wrenches that were not annually inspected and recertified. I've seen name brands become 20 or 30 foot pounds out of wack, just from being dropped once on the floor. I was an overhaul inspector and my employers made us recertify every micrometer and precision measurement device every year. No matter how much you pay for these tools they need constant adjustment.
Those lads from Texas sure are lame, buying an ex Dubai car that was on car trek and expecting it to be perfect. I hope they paid hoovie the proper price for the murci. Great video, never seen a 456 pulled apart before 👌🏻
Great work, Daniel! Your natural behind the camera and an exceptionally talented mechanic. Keep up the good work. I’m proud to be one of the first subscribers to what will blow up into an amazing following.
Hi Daniel I watch all hoovies and the wizards videos and have seen you many times on them but to see you in your own right is excellent you are a master technician I hope your channel gets the following it deserves cheers neil from England
Great video Daniel, thanks. I think the best part is watching someone else tangle with an engine removal, not me! I'm getting ready to replace the shift shaft seals on my 328.
Hello Jennifer, I watch Hoovie, Wizard and all the group, unfortunately about the same time you did I suffered ESRD, no one has a clue what dialysis and this disease does to your body and soul! From hemo to PD back to hemo, numerous ER visits and hospital stays. I am listed at three transplant centers and wait like you. I feel trapped and also slowly feel my body dieing, ESRD and the dialysis that saves us also kills us. My dialysis days are awful, needles, headaches, blood pressure, trapped in a chair for four hours not being to move an inch. Watching people whom you have made friends with "dialysis friends" disappear and die off. I to pray for the gift of life. Peace love and happiness Jeff
way to go buddy....good to see you in the realm...... Edit: you're damn good at the commentary too. 1000x better than I am. I sounded like a drunk used car salesman named guido!!
When my son and I saw the shop a week ago, was able to see this engine on the table. Glad to see a closer inspection video of it now! You were deep in the Lexus and I didn't want to interrupt you but glad you have your own channel now and excited for more videos!
Just looking at you taking that car apart and thinking "man, this has got to go back together again and work"! I build big machines in a factory but this is a totally different level. What a pro. Subscribed.
It’s great to see your enthusiasm. Solving problems, organizing and the level of concentration and care, besides the necessary skills is refreshing. I’m retired, but still get excited when one of my appliances, cars or even lawnmower needs a fix. Absolutely love any kind of puzzle! It is surprising to me that so many people don’t know or care to know how anything works. Thank you for the video and looking forward to more!
Great Vid Daniel-San. I can tell you have a great camera and finally, someone can properly light a car repair. No shadows and very clear angles. Yep, I subscribed and looking forward to more.
Loved watching this, you explain everything clearly and with great attention to detail. Your one-handed camera work is also excellent, everything nicely lit and in focus. Well done.
Nice to see all you guys are doing well on you tube. Being a VAG mechanic from many years ago, if the head nuts are found to be loose wouldn't that be because the gasket failed? I watched Hoovies video and when he mentioned loose head stud nuts thats what sprang to mind. Keep up the good work, I love the wizard, and all you guys.
Glad I popped over to see your channel. Love that you're in your own lane with it and showing the hands on work. I'd love to see more of your method and how you tackle those impossible situations that have to be figure out.
Great video Daniel. Even though I’m unlikely to ever own a Ferrari, I’m excited to learn about fixing and maintaining them. You’re going to be a great teacher. Keep it going!
Great Video, keep it up. Couldn't help wondering if they were mixing foot pounds and Newton Meters up when they were working on it. Really strange that this would happen. I've been to Dubai and worked there, they're not that weak... Keep going.
Nicely explained, good use of timelapses, easy to follow and understand, nice pace through the whole video. Good job! A few cuts in the first half were maybe .5sec too early, but nothing too disturbing. Done like a pro!
I saw the video on Hoovie's channel after you pulled the motor and stripped it. The way you had everything laid out in order meticulously shows your attention to detail. Keep up the good work Daniel-San. 👍
Hey Daniel San, congratulations on your new channel!!! This is a great video,, I'm happy to be an early subscriber & I look forward to seeing many more videos & watching your channel grow!!!! 👍👍🙂
Great Job!!! Always wondered how involved it was in actually getting one of those out...especially when you hear EVERYTHING on the seems to be engine out $$$$$.
Great video!! It will be great to have that 456 engine done right. Not Dubai work.
Y'all show them Dubai bois how it's done 😂😂
I was teasing Dan that you would be laughing at someone else trying to fix one of Tyler's hoopties, when they were trying to track down the leak. 😜

no kidding eh? I'm going to say "more natural than the wizard" lol
Awesome to see these guys channels grow all started with Hoovie. Blessed to have 2 great shops in the same location!!! Very lucky !!!
Hi Daniel I watch all hoovies and the wizards videos and have seen you many times on them but to see you in your own right is excellent you are a master technician I hope your channel gets the following it deserves cheers neil from England
This was a heck of a lot more natural than I was expecting from a newer person on camera. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The Kansas Car Mafia just keeps growing!
Oh boy the Tyler Hoover Cinematic Universe expands…
Strong work! Great to see your channel grow!
Great video Daniel, thanks. I think the best part is watching someone else tangle with an engine removal, not me! I'm getting ready to replace the shift shaft seals on my 328.
I love working on 328s!!
Well done! What a nice relationship the wizard has arranged! You get a shop and equipment to work with on your time off and Hoover gets content!
I loved the way he had all the parts laid out and organized and I had to check out this video. Those details make all the difference.
I LOL'ed at the bolt stripping part lol
Great video!

Hoovie sent me over, I liked what I saw, so I subbed! Great Content! Thanks for sharing!
Hoovie said come, I came.
way to go buddy....good to see you in the realm......

I agree with the comments below. Great video, keep them coming.
Hi Dan. Came to you via Wizard & Hoovie. Great work Man. Best of luck with the new channel, cheers, John. (UK).
Great to see a really technical video as a companion piece to Hoovie and the Wiz.
It’s a joy to watch a skilled mechanic work on a sophisticated engine.
Killing it with the videos keep it up!
The patience of Job, these guys... wow.
When my son and I saw the shop a week ago, was able to see this engine on the table. Glad to see a closer inspection video of it now! You were deep in the Lexus and I didn't want to interrupt you but glad you have your own channel now and excited for more videos!

Finally Wizard shop showing actual work being done! Keep going buddy, this is the channel where all the interesting content happens
7:19 That's Obnoxiously Huge BUT, it did work perfectly. GREAT video brother!
Great to see a good mechanic start a fresh CZcams channel.
it's nice to see a mechanic who knows his trade and good luck with your new channel
Another Kansas talent on CZcams. You group is amazing and followed by a large amount of ppl.🎉

Superb video, it's like you have been presenting for years. Look forward to seeing your future content 👍
I never knew they used 2 oil filters like that. Pretty cool.👍👍
Well at least Tyler will know this engine is done right. Daniel you are the man!
This channel will go far!
Love Daniel - San's vibes. Will go far with this channel me thinks
Excited to watch your channel grow! I’ve been a fan of the Wizard and Hoovie for awhile and am happy to add your channel to my favorites. 😀
M m
I really do enjoy the extra detail of the process that these videos go into, looking forward to more.
Not an easy job! Good work!
Glad you came up on my stream. Saw you on Hoovies today too . Keep it rolling Dude !
Excellent video, Daniel! Clearly explained and well put together. Looking forward to the next one!
This is a good lane to fill. M539 does this, but with BMWs only. He's blowing up, with super detailed work, and good editing.
Possibly my favorite channel. Streten is an extremely gifted and detail oriented mechanic.
That V12 is a big unit!
Is there any V12 that is not an unit? 😂😂
Love V12's, such a shame they are going the way of the dodo.
Absolute glorious sounds from them!
Very impressed by Daniel. I knew he was good mechanic from Wizard's videos, but his presenting skills were better than I expected.
Great Vid Daniel-San. I can tell you have a great camera and finally, someone can properly light a car repair. No shadows and very clear angles. Yep, I subscribed and looking forward to more.
Awesome work Daniel! Congrats on starting your own channel. You fit right in with Wizard and Magic Mike. Top quality shop!
Loved watching this, you explain everything clearly and with great attention to detail. Your one-handed camera work is also excellent, everything nicely lit and in focus. Well done.

Also want to compliment you on your camera skill. You really make the subject interesting and a pleasure to listen to. Great job!
Nice to see all you guys are doing well on you tube.

I watched Hoovies video and when he mentioned loose head stud nuts thats what sprang to mind.
Keep up the good work, I love the wizard, and all you guys.
Excellent video Daniel. Good work and balls of steel lifting that engine out. Can’t wait for the next video 👍🇬🇧
Its such a pleasure seeing younger people that are so skilled in this profession showing us how its really done. Bravo and Happy Thanksgiving. Bill
great video Daniel sun you are the next mechanical powerhouse
Always impressive to see a V12 being ''extracted'' !!! Nice job ! Great content !
Nice to see some actual work coming out of the Wizard's shop vs just walkarounds. Great video!
Daniel, nice to see you hop in! Good work. Looking forward to seeing what you do.
Congratulations 🎊 Daniel-San !
I like your video presentation and pace as well as your music choice !
Great Video! Keep them coming
Thanks for the video and stay safe ✌️.
Thanks Hoovie and the Wizard as well.

This guy knows his stuff!
Love to see the step by step detailed process! Keep up the good work! 🤙🏻
Great video Daniel. Even though I’m unlikely to ever own a Ferrari, I’m excited to learn about fixing and maintaining them. You’re going to be a great teacher. Keep it going!
Dude you are a natural!
Great work, I can see you're getting more comfortable doing these videos. Good improvement.
Great Work Daniel. So happy to see the wizards crew doing their own thing. Subscribed immediately! Cheers from Australia 🦘
Great Video, keep it up. Couldn't help wondering if they were mixing foot pounds and Newton Meters up when they were working on it. Really strange that this would happen. I've been to Dubai and worked there, they're not that weak... Keep going.
Great to see another channel from the Hoovie/Wizard gang.
Great job, that seemed pretty complicated. Only pulling an engine+gearbox from a Countach looks more complicated :D
Nicely explained, good use of timelapses, easy to follow and understand, nice pace through the whole video. Good job!
A few cuts in the first half were maybe .5sec too early, but nothing too disturbing.
Done like a pro!
Wizard lucky to have ya. Keep up the excellent work.
Not overly exited high pitch voice. Instead a calm, paced talk where it's easy to follow on what you are saying. Good job!
Another great mechanic youtuber for me to watch! Keep on the good work 😎
Great job on this video Daniel-San!! Keep ‘‘em coming!
Consummate professional!
And with those ceiling shots I understand why Junior Mint is working up there!
I saw the video on Hoovie's channel after you pulled the motor and stripped it. The way you had everything laid out in order meticulously shows your attention to detail.
Keep up the good work Daniel-San. 👍
Good video, your content & presentation coming along well.
This is my first time watching your video and at the beginning I'm so surprised to see you talk this much lol. Great video!
Fantastic detail shown in this video... I'm a big fan. I would love to see more like this. keep it up... Nailed It!
Really great video! Well produced and informative. Can't wait to see more content from you!

Subscribed immediately due to your blatant honesty Daniel san. Thanks for keeping it real sir!
Good job man!. Great to see actually see someone work in that shop!
Great Job!!! Always wondered how involved it was in actually getting one of those out...especially when you hear EVERYTHING on the seems to be engine out $$$$$.
loving the beard! you got a new sub. good luck with the channel!
Didn't know you had a channel until today from hoovie's video. Binge watching all your vids as we speak. Keep up the good work 👍
Great project there. I love those front engined V12 Ferraris when I hit the lottery that's the one I'll own😁
Subscribed, came from the Car Wizards channel. Great of him to let you use his shop and film your work.
Awesome video! Great detail into something many- nay, most of us will never see.
Well done, Daniel. Great editing and commentary.
What an awesome channel! Can’t wait to watch your channel explode!
I'm only 4 minute's in and I had to stop and comment. You've got great screen presence and explain things well. This is going to be great.
Hoovie is like the Adam of CZcams. Everyone branches off of him.
