Hogging ALL the Old Coins Metal Detecting Huge Colonial Farm

- Sometimes you're the Hammer. Sometimes you're the Nail. Mark snagged us a new permission. HUGE old colonial farm. We set off to find some iron patches out in the fields. We try and find the starter home where the oldest items can be found. We did find a few iron patches and for whatever reason I hogged all the coins, Brad blew hot air, and Mark was down wind...

DONT KNOCK BRADS CLAY MARBLE… lol When I was young and wanted my grandmother to buy me some marbles she said they cost to much, go over to the creek and get some clay and bring it back so I did and she showed me how to make clay marbles by cooking them in the oven. After they were done she said take them to school and win some real ones which I did. She’s been gone a number of years now but that little mention brought back a great memory. That hole definitely mattered in my book thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏻👊🏻
Brad needs all the marbles he can get!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Just joking... 🥳
Love this! I'll wager you really appreciated those glass marbles when you won them.
That's an awesome story. Love finding the clay marbles. Glass ones also. Merry Christmas
LOL the memory’s you just brought back for me my granny did about the same thing when I was a young lad Iam only 37 she thought 1.25 for 150 smalls and 2 aggies was outrageous so that’s how the clay ones came about for me at 4-5 years old and just about a week ago I showed my boy 5 years old how to bake his marbles lol now he has 2 leather sacks of marbles to play with his few little buddies I told him take all the fancy ones he can LOL 😂
I used to sell old clay marbles for 5 to 7 each.
Well, you got the gold mine and the rest got the shaft on that hunt. You just were in the right spot at the right time. At least the coppers weren't totally toasted. Good job, thanks!
Nothing but shenanigans when you guys are together. Bunch of nice finds fellas.
Good morning from Shreveport Louisiana. Always a good day watching Hoover Boys do the deed and dig the beep!!

Great permission Mark... I mean... Ummm yeah... for Kurt!! All kidding aside, Great day on the field!! Thanks for sharing.
Took a leaf out of your book dig everything. 900 holes this week boys. Chunks of silver and lead, 303 ammunition lots of moderns. Point is 850 bits of trash. Nice vid boys cheered me up.
Wednesday is one of my favorite days... I enjoy watching you guys and look forward to all the amazing and not so amazing treasures you find.
"Is it a Braided?" "Well, sure it's abraded. It's been in a farm field for 150 years."
Nice seeing Max ,out working well
Lol it's great to see Brad, nice finds guys. Happy Hunting!
This is easily my favourite metal detecting channel. The friendship between you and Brad really makes it.
Thank you for the support!
Eating my lunch and watching the hoover boys! Nothing better!!
It's almost like you guys were up with us in these Michigan fields, we find a lot of the same stuff ! Nice hunt guys ! 😊👍
slayed it ! found a key exactly like that in the front of an 1890s home in a curbstrip 💥👍🤠🏴☠️
Great to be back again watching you Kurt!
Thanks for eating lunch at Wawa! Supporting my retirement and my metal detecting addiction, lol. Awesome finds, wish I had farms in my neck of the woods.
Quick tip for Brad or any other detectorist that's hard on their pinpointer if you take a piece of 1 in shrink tube and shrink it on the end and crimp it, it helps the durability!!
Nice digs, Kurt! I've been detecting long enough to know when someone is frustrated when you are hogging all the goodies - you become a leper to them. When you're hot, you're hot, though. Cause you know you are going to be on the other end soon.
I need to make my first go out from when I returned from family Thanksgiving at my sister's house in Sacramento. A neat small house she bought from the people whom built it 1949-50. Fruitridge area. Bike trouble, it's fixed so I'll go to my WWII ghetto. I scouted Town, and my Kakaako area is closed out for good.. It's Wednesday, and I went out. Best prize is a silver WWI era sharpshooter pin and pendant cross. The Islands were lately lashed with rain, and a big pile of unsifted material had a small Maltese cross. As I sifted while digging I found the bar "Sharpshooter" with a functional pin back. The cross is marked "Robbins Co. Attleboro Mass.". The connector loop is long gone. I found a 1940 Cent and a 5 oz. or so Hazel Atlas tumbler.
Love to watch you all! You have fun and find coins ! Keep treasure hunting! Love the 1940 quarter looks good!
Kurt:
Ya got the Patience of Jobe and are a solid best-Bud !
Just a really cool man.
I like that ... 💯

Great hunt with lots of cool finds. Sadly I don't have much to report this week. I found a 1955 Rosie. I also took up silversmithing to make spoons and other cool stuff. Anyways looking forward to the next hunt. Good luck and its been a pleasure as always to see you guys having fun out there.
Awesome video, HB. I cracked open a Zombie Dust to watch. You guys are excellent detectorists and entertainers. I like farm fields, too. Don't have to be so careful digging the plug. Keep Digging, guys!
Always enjoy my Wednesday lunch break thanks to you guys. "Eat your lunch"
You guys always find awesome old stuff. Great channel. 👍
Thanks!
That field provided you with alot of interesting goodies 👍
I've been watching you for over a year, but have never commented. I'm in Laurel, MD. I really respect how you all work together to obtain permissions, and share, all for one. It's amazing how many colonial sites there are in Maryland. I recently worked at Pintail Point, on the Wye. Circa 1654. Hope to detect it in the spring. Will use your advise on finding original structure, but I think the late 18th century house sits on the old site. Anyway thanks, I really enjoy your vids.
Thanks to these videos and quarter hoarder videos, I've decided to start collecting buttons. I woulda never thought of it before.....but now, theyre freakin awesome! 😃. Thanks guys.
Great hunt as always, you guys are always so much fun.👋👍

I just knew that big silver was going to be Spanish. You got me! LOL!
IMHO, the Sal Vet watch fob was the coolest item, worm destroyer, good for all livestock. It's great to see fresh finds, man you've been rallying these hunts for a lot of years and always provide great content. Good on ya'. Everybody Like, subscribe, and show everyone you know this channel.

Good morning from Reno. Well the ground finally froze and we have snow; no detecting today
Nice work all.
I envision a day coming when metal detectors will be 100% accurate on identifying precious metals. When that tech arrives, I also envision me designing a pair of shoes with coils on the soles.
Lots of great stuff!! Congrats!
Some nice Finds! I bet the snake coil in that iron patch would have a chance at pulling some silver out! Kool Flying Eagle! I haven't found one of those yet either! Great Vidayoo!
