Clear and concise. I just made a router sled with 10mm rod stock that's on 12mm bar rails. Hand powered! This setup looks like a future possession to me. Thanks for the push.
Glad it helped 👍
i'm absolutely love your videos , no mucking about straight to the point , job done . 👍
Thank you 👍
Another great post James, well done
Ran mine at 5000mm/min 3mm stepdown in MDF perfect with 8mm Endmill
Not sure why but I got the alert for this video at 4am which I thought was a cool time to release a video
😆 youtube does baffle me sometimes with what time it does notifications
Well, Are the new rails better than the old ones?
Sorry, this may be the wrong place to ask but can you advise me on...I have a prover 4030 v1 and want to buy another one, so the question is prover v2 or fox allen with linear upgrade. Forget about the cost it's more important to get the strongest machine. Thank you in advance
Hi. This machine use the GRBL HAL or a different ones ? I'm not able to find this info in the FoxAlien site 😞
I believe this is running GRBL 1.1h
many on youtube doing this upgrade......question is?.....was it a big or minimal difference?....worth the $$....how bout comparison video on quality this made?
Literally the next video was the comparison. Can't remember if I mention it in the video or not but it's not just the quality, it's the longevity. Linear rails will last longer.

If its supposed to be as is why upgrade?
Don't quite understand the question but if its just why would you upgrade then this covers it

@@JamesDeanDesigns AAHHHHH! Now I get it, thank you for the link. My question was: since rails are already good then why upgrade? Your link answered it, to make my investment last longer. Thank you for your reply.
Can you imagine that they charge $349 US dollars for this "upgrade"? This should be sent free of charge to every user that purchased this machine with sincere apologies.
Why? Have you used this machine? The machine (with a router) performs amazingly well, 1/4in bit cut 9mm deep in one cut through pine, 8mm through hard oak, 6mm deep in one pass through aluminium.
@@JamesDeanDesigns No, I have something different, but this is $1500 US Dollars machine without linear rails that they want to charge you extra for.
