I so enjoyed hearing years later Ms Carpenter tell the story as to how she came to record the song of Lucinda's. What I truly like about this particular recording now are the words about "shouldn't I have this". I adore that her dear best friend, producer and amazing guitarist is her right-hand person up until he was taken too soon by CA. Thank you TheMC2Fan for ensuring that this Austin City Limits performance made it to You Tube. It is a good 'pick me up' beat when one needs such, with words to process as well.

I was fortunate enough to have attended this show. It was great all the way through, but this was probably the best performance of the night.
The more I hear MCC The more I want to hear the adorable powerhouse that is MCC.

You can tell she was seeing Mike Campbell of the Heartbreakers around this time . Love that Rickenbacker sound.
