- In the style of Dominik Eulberg, Max Cooper, Paul Kalkbrenner and Sascha Funke etc from around 13-14 years ago. What do you call that style and what happened to it?

You have a beautiful sound
Love the set up!
Many thanks!! 🙏
Listen again. Didn't comment yet but now I wanna say this is one of my favorite on your channel! Really great. I like that "hollow", bit harsh sound the song starts with. It makes it special in a positive sense :)
Thanks a lot mate!
wow!!!!

@@sonfx 🙂
Really nice work. Again . Like always 🫡🔥👍🏻 and again it’s reminds me of Bonobo/ Apex Twin / Quantic.. lovely man! Keep it up
Thanks a lot! 👊 Got to give Bonobo a spin soon. Haven't listened for ages. Got an album to recommend?
@@sonfx days to come / Dial M for monkey… all of his Ninja Tunes Albums
I've been calling it "deep tech house" for thew last 15 or so years (a name I have gradually come to find more and more inappropriate and confusing and kinda dumb but nevertheless its still the name I use for THAT folder on my sticks ie deep/proggy/melodic stuff thats not quite progressive house, not quite deep techno).
Once upon a time it was Gabrielle Ananda, (early) Oxia, The Youngsters, Funk D'Void, Chymera (LOTS of Chymera), Michael Mayer, Ian O'Donovan, Tom Middleton, PQM. Nowadays it's Jeremy Olander, Tale Of Us, (newer) Dave Seaman, Bicep, Dixon, &ME, Sebastian Leger, Agents Of Time, Stephan Bodzin
Your track is pretty nice BTW. I own an RS7000 so I know what a bitch it is to work with, so great work considering :).
Cool thanks!! Names are tricky but it would be good to have an easy way to search for this kind of music.
@@sonfx The best way to search unfortunately, is not as easy as googling a single term, but this is an algorithm that has stood me in good stead over the years (you probably already do this but it might help those new to the game):
Start with an artist you have identified that plays a lot of the sound you're looking for, and listen to DJ mixes by them. Within those mixes pick out tracks you like, and find out what they are titled/who they are written by, and then buy those tracks.
Then go listen to DJ mixes by the artists that wrote the tracks you picked. Rinse, repeat.
It takes a long time, but it's fun. Also, only go strictly for tracks you think are rated at least 8/10 (ignore the filler).
Seems obvious to some, but you'd be surprised how many people are grateful to learn this.
What to call the folder on your sticks/mp3 library though is different issue.
@@knowingwhatthebuttondoes3432 that's a solid method, thanks for sharing here :) I used to do that with John Fleming's J00F radio and Hernan Cattaneo in the past.

👊💪
genial!, all the sounds are from the RS7000?
Cheers! A few sounds come straight out of the RS and a few others I sampled from the RS to the blackbox and sequenced from the RS. The rest is from the little pink box and the blackbox.
whats the box with the 4x4 encoders?
That's an Intech Studio EN16 controller.

THANK YOU! I've thought about getting the 707 a few times.
The Yamaha is cool but most of the sounds in this video are from the little boxes.
I'll see if I can find your channel, then! I'm interested to see what you're doing but it would be easier if you would've commented from it. Cheers, Sonny
