Buffet was late in technology and Apple...his mindset can not rap around what Tesla is doing. Investing in the future is not what he is about...Tesla is more than cars
Wouldn't invest in a car company cause it's too competitive (yet he invested in BYD)....First mover advantage is what I like, he said....I agree! As in Tesla has a massive first mover advantage on: battery production, super-charging network, miles driven with cameras for deep learning autonomy, pure 100% EV assembly line, a sister company that launches satellites for broadband, solar manufacturing, etc....I could keep going. HUGE respect for this guy's success, but he's 88 yrs old. I do not expect to know as much about the future as younger ppl when I'm that age. If you asked him how Bitcoin works do you think he could tell you....maybe? LOL
With autopilot, once that happens and ridesharing driverless uber will be even cheaper, I won't buy a car anymore. There's no point in owning a car in the future if they're no longer fun and are just appliances.
Like Buffet says, it's important to separate your business from your personal sentiments, especially when you're managing other people's wealth in trust.
Buffets always been a value investor. The Graham tenets don't apply to tesla until tesla becomes a moat. These kids have no idea what buffet stands for in the investing world. All these fanboys make me sick.
These journalists don't understand, if a business fundamental is sound, and they are doing the necessary steps to clean house, and get on the right track. Why should BRK sell Well Fargo stock? in fact, BRK should buy more if it is cheap. These people only look at Wells Fargo for the last few years, they don't look at it 50~80 years.
Only Becky Quick should interview Warren.

When it comes to tech this guy knows nothing.
Buffett own several companies in China that are competitor against Tesla. Of course he would say this
Of course he has a cherry coke in the background. Classic Warren.

PLEASE READ:
Elon has been doubted many times and he always prevailed. He’s the smartest individual in this planet I’m confident Tesla will pull through.
with all due respect, tesla is not just a car company. they are also an energy(batteries&solar) and technology(autonomous driving) company.

Buffett looks great, doesn’t look like someone who drinks a lot of soda.
Here is a new rule for you Buffet:
Very disappointed he refuse to say anything bad about Wells Fargo.
A positive answer could drive Tesla's price up, something he wouldn't want to see at the moment.
I agree!!!

Well if any other person was in charge of tesla instead of elon, buffet would be right.
