  • In this vlog I travel from Hua Hin to Nong Khai on the Thailand Laos border by overnight train. I check into my hotel and then explore Nong Khai by moto bike checking out the mighty Mekong River, view points, the food and a few beers in the expat bars before heading over to Laos the following day. Hope you enjoy the vlog. Please don't forget to SUBSCRIBE, LIKE & SHARE, cheers

      Gday Jim, definately the train is a better option, very comfortable, I ended up nearly sleeping the whole way there which I would never do on a bus, cheers

    Pedro, I reckon the bug is either a change in diet or a loss of electrolytes. I reckon daily Gatorade is a must along with a vitamin filled juice, both available at 7-11. Enjoy your vids!👍

    Nice vlog Pedro Thai, this vlog stirred a bit of nostalgia in me as I stayed at the 'Meeting place' 32 years ago when they were still building the friendship bridge.
    Me and my mates did a grand tour of Isaan, oh mate what a scream and the name 'Paterson' comes to my hazy mind regarding the meeting place all them years ago, thanks for sharing mate cheers.

    • @PedroThai
      @PedroThai  Před 11 měsíci +2

      Gday Mick, that's amazing, I reckon the 'meeting place' back then was a go to place in Nong Khai, I remember it had accommodation but 'Bob' stopped taking people in coz he wasn't making any money from it. His girlfriend was from Laos and she was pregnant at the time. It's funny how things stick in your mind from all those years ago and yet I spent only one night there. I'm so wrapped this story rekindled a similar memory. cheers mate

      Gday Malc, consider taking the train from Bangkok if u have time, it is really worth it. Nong Khai has not changed much since I first visited there all those years ago. It is pretty quiet and peaceful and you would only need to spend a couple of days there, cheers
