This is the Hotel Clover Patong and it is roughly $50 a night and has quickly turned into one of my favorite hotels in the area! This is a great video if you're looking for the best place to visit in Phuket, Thailand. It is also a great place to explore Phuket Nightlife on Bangla Road as it is just one street over!

easily recognizable hotel fro the thumbnail..hotel clover is a fantastic hotel close to bangla...stayed there on previous trips and it was always great
I stayed there in September and was quite busy. They start reboarding the wood floor around the pool at the tail end. Was a great hotel. Price jumps in peak season though

Chris, my favourite patong affordable hotel is The Lantern Resorts @ Soi San Sabai. Everything is pretty loaded on that single street.

Great hotel, great review as always Chris! But it costs over $5000 (Australian) to stay there in December for 7 nights. Even July, August it is over $3500...

If ppl wanna relax by the beach, I recommend bang tao beach, most hotels there have private access to the beach, away from the hustle and bustle.

If you're in Kamala you really should check out Maybelles coffee garden if you haven't yet. from what I am told one of the best restaurants around. I am going in a couple months to check out Richie and Maybelle
