Practical effects on peters head when he takes off the helmet still blows my mind to this day...absolutely incredible makeup work.
The original Robocob is without a doubt one of the greatest movies ever made!
these guys made cinema history, nobody remember last year's movies, but Robocop will stand the test of time for many more decades to come.
Thank you so much Peter Weller, for contributing to my childhood being happy... and even now at 41 years old
Thank you.
Every country guyes, sorround the world 🌍
Next in the list are "Ninja turtles" 😄
At 42, it changed my childhood
Agreed 🎉
Robocop is a masterpiece.
RoboCop was one of the best movies ever made! Period
This is a movie that never gets old. I can watch it over and over and over again.
There was so much hard work put into those flicks back then. No wonder they still look good by today's standards.
PETER, GOD BLESS YOU BROTHER , YOU DEFINITELY SUFFERED FOR YOUR ART. WE SALUTE YOU FOR NOT JUST ROBOCOP, BUT ALL YOUR FANTASTIC WORK. YOU ARE WHOLLY ORIGINAL AND SO ARE YOUR FILMS. THANK YOU!!!!!!!
At 7:28.....When Murphy 1st takes off the helmet...that practical make up on his face and head with the mechanical stuff on his neck and back of the head is still mind-blowing today
Always loved that they didn’t give Robocop a gun hand or guns protruding from his body….Having his gun holstered then using it just like a normal person was so cool
So cool to hear him talk in this level of detail. You don't hear this stuff normally.
in the modern movies due to lack of artistic work and details..there is nothing to hear about 😂😂😂😂
I watch this movie at least once per week
😂 I need to rewatch it tonight
Il RoboCop di Verhoeven è geniale, e Peter Weller un mostro di bravura! Gli altri due così così, però Peter è sempre mitico!👏👍
Every child was watching this in the 80's / 90's. I believe I was around 8 or 9 when I first saw it. My grand-parents brought me the VHS. I had all the Robocop toys, including the helmet that i used to wear and run around pretending I was Robocop.... For me, Robocop was my super-hero as a child.
I was also around this age. Amazing film. But it was kinda scary for a 8 or 9 year old!
Dr.Peter Weller is one of a kind.😎
So stoked for Robocop: Rogue City. Peter Weller is BACK!
And it's really good! Really enjoying it.
Just finished the game yesterday! What a good game! Didn't expect the final boss to be "him"! I need more!
I think im at the last mission too. Gonna finish it today after work.
This game is great a true love letter to the movie
The detail of Robocop’s head without the helmet is to this day, makes you feel for the character now seeing what was done to him..
I love this movie one of my favorites. I wish we could get more robocop movies 🎥
Im happy and appreciated to see all this HARD work behind the scenes. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Paul Verhoeven is the most underrated genius director of the 80s & 90s! 🤔
Still remains a work of genius
Best Robocop ever...
Huge robocop fan 😊😊
Glad that the movie became the classic hit it is today, they realy deserved it! Love the movie, its a masterpiece with a simple name!
Thx for all your hard work and dedication 👏 👍 😍
Best Robocop design ever, not that 2014 design.
Peter was amazing as robocop
Saw this movie too many times as a kiddie I pretty grew out of it before I was pre teen
Now this film won't be the same again when I watch it .... but ... I'll definitely watch it again.
that face without the helmet is crazy..I was like how the fck they manage to do that ?..
Awesome 😎
There's something about this film and Starship Troopers that feels so similar. I enjoy both films equally well.
Mmmmmm . ,. . might have something to do with both films being directed by the same guy.
@@ThomasFerrugia I honestly never took the time to check into that. I did not know this. LoL.
Satire?
Same with total recall, basic instinct ,showgirls all verhoven films have a certain
look about them.
Good for you 🎉
So many great action sci-fi movies from the 80’s and 90’s, you could feel the passion, dedication and effort put in these flicks. Now, with all those billions of dollars and cgi and whatever, Hollywood is nothing more than a bland trash maker.
The disappearing chin guard is still baffling me to this day
Murphy: You may not like what you are going to see.
Lewis: 😮 omg!
Murphy: yea I know I'm hideous 😔
Lewis: where'd the chin guard go?
Murphy: 🤫🤫🤫🤫🤫.............shhhhh!
He removed it offscreen before the helmet 🤷♂️
We all know that 🤷♂️ but it's the way they tried to incorporate it in robocop 3 but it failed miserably. It should have stayed mysterious.
Yeah you're right when his helmet is off his chin is exposed the chin guard disappeared
It falls away
RoboCop 1
Clarence: "Btches leave!"
RoboCop Rogue City
Becker: "Btches come!"
Circle of life.
robocop is our childness
Serve the public trust.
Protect the innocent.
Uphold the law.
Awesome behind the scenes.
I always wondered how he had so much ammo and never reloaded.
9:20-9:48 close your eyes and listen to the story
Did't know Ed was that way.
Very cool 👍
imagine if they ever do a R rated reboot and they actually show the faceoff transplant and show the retractable neck armor
Wow
If they put this movie back out it will make more money than The Marvels..😂. I need this on 4k. I can repeat every single word in this movie. I'd buy that for a dollar 😂😂
at my bank security question: whats your favourite movie answer " Robocop"
Nice
Rip Bob morton aka Miguel Ferrer
Lol I love how the camera guy has been flagged about 20 times with a gun and a finger in the trigger guard :D
❤ thisfilme
We need a robocop movie where robo stays alive for 200 years or something, technology has advanced so much that they can clone his original body and transfer his consciousness into it and then travel back in time to get payback. ya like?
Listening to Peter Weller talk is said to increase your IQ by 1 point per minute.
So did they just transport his brain into the robot then and then stuck his face on it?
exactly \,,/
He has his organs and most of his head. He has skin on his face so as not to freak people out. But he's still got his digestive system.
He’s a brain, a bunch of organs and a face grafted onto a metal skull. That’s all that’s left of him.
Burst-fire is not automatic fire, by the way. Maybe a few more days experience in Texas...
Burst fire is just automatic fire with a limiter. A burst mechanism counts the shots in automatic fire (however many they may be, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc), and then disconnects the trigger like in semi-auto when reaching its stop.
On something like the M16A2 and M16A4, the burst mechanism there will never reset unless it has counted the third shot, which is why with those rifles if you pull the trigger and release before the second shot, the next time you pull the trigger you would only get up to two shots, rather than the full three, then it resets. Likewise you could fire two shots separately, and you'd then only get one shot when pulling the trigger the third time, no matter how long you hold on to it, and then it resets.
There are however some automatic weapons with burst triggers where the counting mechanism is always reset once the trigger is released, no matter the amount of shots counted, so those would never prematurely interrupt a burst.
lol the serie have the same suite without problem
The question is: Why do movies today suck? CG? No original stories? Catering to the woke crowed? Sensitive politics? Extreme commercialism? Who knows. One thing is sure: They don't make them like this anymore....
I have to watch this movie once a week to feel me alive myself....
