God, I loved spyro. The first three games will always be my favorite video games ever, nothing will replace them. I've beaten them all several times, then I played the fourth one and after about an hour i turned it off and cried myself to sleep. Such a shame...
The second one was actually my favorite. At the end of the game, if you picked up all the gems and stuff you could get powered up breath and shoot fireballs all the time, it was pretty sweet.
Oh god, this brings back so many memories. When I was younger, I would play this game everyday, on holidays like 4th of July and Easter. God it was so fun.
I can just imagine Crash and Spyro chillin' together. Insomniac needs to make more games like the first Spyro trilogy for the PSP, I'd definatly buy them!
I remember playing Spyro: Year of the Dragon on Sony PS1 when I was ten years old and I also played it on Sony PSVita as Sony PS1. It's a great game. As a kid, some egg challenges which I never beat because I thought I found them too hard but I eventually beat them all on Sony PSVita. By the way I think I've seen this American PS1 advert on CZcams before and it reminds reminds me of Godzilla. I know it is the final Spyro game in the series to be developed by an American video game developer Insomniac Games.
This was the only game I really had for the Playstation 1 (I was an N64 kid and I never even heard of the Saturn until 2003-04), but let me tell ya, this was easilly one of the best games I've ever played ever! The only problem with it was that I never had a Memory Card, and thus it never saved, and that always made me mad. But it was fun and awesome and I now have it on the PS3! I miss the 90's...

they are actually starting to do the "playstaytion" phrase again. i saw a psp commercial and at the end of it that exact same voice said "play stay shun" with the original playstation symbol.

@avity14 spyro 2 had a map? also Spyro 2 didn't have all the extra games and playable characters the 3rd game had...and plus imo (of course...cuz that is what everybody is stating) it has the best level design out of the first 3 games.
Those who don't know this game *squints eyes* where's your childhood? This is definitely on my top 10 list. I'd trade the rest of my games (besides VALVe games - nothing messes with VALVe) just to get a working PS1, and the PS1 crash and spyro series. I literally only need like 10 games to be happy for the rest of my life.
@trainman666 100% means you did everything. There's technically nothing above it when referring only to percents. Meaning you didn't actually 100% the game. You only did so to Spyro's standards but Spyro standards also say that 100% does not mean a complete game since they don't use it as a maxim.
@rushinobby09 I totally agree! Everytime I play one of the original 3 Spyro games, I just feel like I've been transported to another world. I love looking at the skies in those games while listening to the music; so beautiful! New Spyro games suck :p
