I disagree with Craig. If we end up not winning the league, we wouldn't be looking at the result with regret. Instead, we will be upset about the back to back loss against West Ham and Fulham in December.
Drawing away against the best team in the world can never be looked at negatively, as much as some rival fans want to suggest
It's not about drawing. It's about not going for a win when there was a chance to do so
@@momomo8093thinking that wouldn't have played right into City's hands is wishful at best.
@@momomo8093 That's BS. If we weren't trying to win the game, we wouldn't have subbed in Trossard and Martinelli.
Telling us to go into City's house and attack them openly is not just naivety bordering on stupidity but is also incredibly disrespectful to City. We got zero points from 6 out of City last season, this year we've cut their return by 5 and increased ours by 4. I'd say that's an improvement. First clean sheet by anyone at the Etihad in the League for 3 years, 'nuff said.
Klinsman cant say he wants Liverpool to win, he wants Jurgen to win.
Jurgens need to stick out for each other
Liverpool is klopp🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Jurgen can't say arsenal coz he is spurs

Klinsmann and Klopp grew up in the same area in Germany
Arsenal get 4 points from LFC and MC and it’s a problem somehow, amazing..
It is truly amazing and shocking to be honest.
Yeah cuz they are still 2 points behind Liverpool
That's not so much the issue. The issue is that with 9 matches to go every point now counts, they are really weighted as the runway to correct past results is fast disappearing. We'll soon see if that was a missed moment or the right pragmatic, tactical approach by Arteta.
You won’t say that if TAA had scored that simple tap in instead of trying to go for the sublime
Dropping points against Fulham is a problem
It’s the 5 points dropped against Fulham that Arsenal will rue not the draw at City.
Fulham were better in those two games agree to it and move on if you guys truly deserve to win the tittle show that you are capable by winning all the remaining games possible because this is the time of the season arsenal chokes ridiculously ...
We can say the same for City dropping 4 pts against Arsenal, 3pts to Wolves and drawing against Chelsea twice, Liverpool twice, Spurs and Crystal Palace. which is another 12pts
@@Ajaybalaji_ The point is that Arsenal should beat Fulham and usually do whereas this is the first point Arsenal have taken at City in almost a decade.
@@gtr5973 that doesn't make arsenal the tittle winner but it's a great achievement not to concede a goal in etihad still long way for arsenal to go compared to city and pool as they have to play United at ot and spurs away
He said as much
People are blaming Arsenal for playing defensive. Why no one is giving credit to Pep for making adjustments and making it impossible for Arsenal to Press ? Kovacic playing from the back made impossible for Arsenal to press with a good ball handler like him passing through lines. You can see in the initial minutes of the game , Arsenal tried to press but soon realised the game plan . They had no other option but to play safe and not run to the ground try pressing or trying being flashy like last year and concede goals. With all those talk about Klopp style of play and bravery , he has just won a single game at Etihad that too 9 years back. Of course I am only talking about PL and not CL.
Who cares what they say as long as we take advantage in the next few games, that's all I care about.
I made this point about kovacic when we were going for Jorginho. The only thing we're lacking in Arsenal currently is a player like kovacic. We had that in the past with Santi, rosicky, diaby and Jack but now the closest would be Partey. Kovacic break lines so well that if he's in this Arsenal team we'll break a lot of teams down
The thing is, It's not just that they wanted arsenal to attack more openlywhat they wanted was for us to play more openly so we can get slapped by city
@@WillaonytFootball discourse is the worst, Arteta got his tactics right and so did Pep, it’s why it was a tight game. Nothing more needs to be said and we don’t need to point the finger at anyone.
I never could have possibly expected us to be top of the league at the start of the season. I never expected us to be top at any stage of the season, let alone with 9 games to go. It has been an absolute joy to behold, made do much more bitter-sweet by knowing that it's Jurgen Klopps last season. Win, lose, or draw. Premier league and europa league or none of it, it has been one to remember.
Craig spent 2 hours making a 10 second point.
Yep absolutely waffling
He always spite garbage
N wait he will flip flop 🩴 soon or next week‼️
He’s picking blind
Bcuz according to the fixtures

Yeah, it’s called ‘entertainment’. It’s not the weather forecast, it’s football.
These guys think Arsenal didn’t try to play. They did, but City stifled their build up. City was amazing defensively as well, especially controlling the middle.
Good point .They can sit in the studio and say anything 😅
Nah, they really didn't. They were scared to try to press City. 28% is Sheffield territory; they were happy to just stay back.
That's not quite true. Arsenal had a clear plan to shut down City and agreed City were also mindful and had a similar plan. They basically canceled each other out.
@@dejansokoloski7270 When does Sheffield go to City and get more shots on goal and have the better of the chances? Because that's what Arsenal did. Possession numbers are meaningless if most of the possession is in the middle third. When it came to generating more genuine attempts on goal, Arsenal had more. So the idea that they played for a draw is overly simplistic "analysis."
@@MichaelHattem well if they start paying 100m for DM they might. So Sheffield has a good explanation why they did it, Arsenal paid so much to play same as promoted team
I agree with Craig in totality Jurgen never goes for a game with parking bus in mind.
Even in his first season with awful defenders klopp still played his game and never parked the bus. In the end only time will tell if the approach from arsenal was the right call
@@BruceLee1.0 Boi stop that lying lol. Was that the same Klop that changed his tactics against Ole in his first 2 seasons?
@@malayanpascal1289 when did they park the bus. Are you that dunce LMAO
Well that's Jurgen, kudos to him. Doesn't mean that Arteta should do the same. His specialty is rest defense and positional fluidity. The term 'parking the bus' doesn't do justice as to how Arsenal defend as It implies that they simply pack the penalty area and hoof the ball mindlessly. That's not the case.
Klopp never park bus ,he is a driver 😅
What a joke, because if Arsenal lost you lot would’ve said same old arsenal
Exactly. I just don't get it.

Trossard was the disappointment in this game the most, play the ball across to Martinelli and the game is over.
To be fair to Trossard, he was probably offside. Watch the replays...
@SmithKerona the offside didn't stop him from passing to Martinelli
Trossard was offside , wouldn’t have mattered . And I would say Saka was by far the biggest disappointment but English fans aren’t ready to have that discussion

Stop with this narrative that Arsenal wanted just a point. They wanted all 3 points. If they wanted just to draw, they would have substituted the attacking players like Jesus and Saka with defensive players, instead of doing like for like substitutions. City came with a plan to blow away arsenal in the first few minutes like last year. This time arsenal made sure to stay in the game while still retaining a chance of winning.
Nah they went there for a point
Even when parking the bus you need a outlet or someone to hold up play. They went for a point. Little boys mentality for arteta.
They did go for a point. As for the formation, obviously he would not have wanted Pep to know it right away and without strikers City wouldn’t have been afraid to attack with 10 players, putting Arsenal under a lot of pressure.

From the perspective of Arsenal, it'd be the right step in Mikel Arteta's project if they somehow win the premier league this season. Many of us don't trust Arsenal in this title race especially with what happened last season and they showed their inexperience and inability to cope with pressure, but to go away from home at City and stop them from scoring they're the first PL team to do that in 2 seasons BTW is impressive. Imagine telling people in 2019, that 5 years later, Arsenal would have a chance to win the premier league, everyone would be laughing at you and they're in contention to win the title and it'd be a significant moment for them if they go all the way in the title race. It tells you how good of a job Arteta has done at Arsenal as they went from midtable to being in the premier league title race in back to back seasons, how many managers can have that sort of an impact, say whatever you want about trophies, his impact on this team should be appreciated, since when are managers judged off of how many trophies they win. I don't think Mikel Arteta is an elite manager, he's heading into that trajectory steadily. First of all, it'd be the first league title since 2004 which was 20 years ago and it'd end the "bottlers narrative" against them especially with what happened this time last season when they spent 32 weeks in 1st place yet still didn't win the league and people will start taking Arsenal a little more seriously. Before the Man City draw, they won 8 games in a row showing that they're in strong form during the crucial period of the season and hopefully they don't choke again because it could happen.
So much criticism for Arsenal having only 27% of the ball. Where is the criticism of City for doing absolutely nothing with 73%?
Why do we need to criticise either? City didn’t do nothing, they got in some decent positions but couldn’t find the final ball.
I need to figure out how to change my ringtone to Shaka’s laugh 📲😂

@ 11:09 To stir the pot Dan misquotes Keane by saying he said "he's like a league 2 player", what Keane said was his touch and link up play are like a league 2 player, he actually highly complimented Haaland as a goalscorer & his goal scoring record.
His touch and link up aren't brilliant but defo not a league 2 player, i saw the WHU/Tott game tonight and saw Antonio's touch and link up play, so Haaland's touch/link up is for sure PL standard, but not top end.
We'd like to have that league 2 player in our Liverpool team besides klopp is a fan of Haalland
Antonio’s touch and link play might not be impressive but his hold up play is one of the best
These criticisms of Haaland are unfair IMO

Arsenal fan here but I think Liverpool has the easiest run in. I think fortunes favour Liverpool. Arsenal has the hardest run in
I have never seen a team be criticised for drawing away to their title rivals who had a 57 goal scoring streak and have arguably the best home record in the league. As excellent as klopp has been as well he's never won at city in the league.
As poor as city have been relative to their previous seasons still are an elite team. They literally just won 5 trophies in a year for goodness sake. This is also the 1st time I have ever seen city play at home and not even test the opposition keeper. That's literally a compliment to arsenal because teams which have tried different styles vs city have absolutely been blitzed with countless shots and save after save. That was not the case yesterday.
Stopping arguably the best team in the world is really hard and arsenal did really well
Nobody is denying Arsenal defended superbly at the Etihad but you also got to acknowledge that as an attacking force Arsenal were the worst i have seen all season, especially as for some bizarre reason a lot of people had them favorites to win at the Etihad when there record there is absolutely tragic.
One of the other reasons is because they went to the Etihad like 99% of other teams do and played with a low block and hoped for a counter attack opportunity to score and there is nothing wrong with doing that.
@alexischristou3266 you said it yourself, their record at etihad is shocking and city were favourites to win, but you gonna sit here and criticise them for getting a draw there? As a result, Liverpool have only taken 1 point from Arsenal and now so have City, they got the wins at home and denied them away.
The criticism is that they needed to win to have a chance of winning the league, and they didn't even really try to. That's fair, no matter how hard a task it was. As it is, Arsenal are now distant 3rd favourites with their run-in.
@@dontchatbreeze The only criticism was the fact that Arsenal had almost no ambition to attack City and thats a fair critique given what we saw on Sunday.
@afterthoughtbtw . They didn’t need to win it . Just need to stay in the race and can’t deny they have and are . I firmly believe Arsenal win 7 of their last 9 they win the league . Tough ask with the fixtures but no doubt city and pool aren’t winning every remaining fixture

They don't play like that and this panel sits there and says they were naive. As Arsenal fans we've wanted to see a more pragmatic approach when we've needed it. Was happy with a draw, I believe all 3 sides will drop some points.
Keane didn't say Haaland was a bad player, or league two player, he said aspects of his game, but also said in front of goal he's excellent. I hate how the media take things out of context.

You can never satisfy humans. You just have to do you and be good with what you have done 💯
The pressure is on now and Arsenal got a good point away at Citeh. However, Liverpool have the edge with starting players returning. That we are top despite all the injuries is some statement made by Klopp who kept going with players at his disposal in a season of transition.
Saka, Gabriel, Partey and Odegaard made miraculous recoveries from their injuries that they sustained over the international break! 🙃

78% possession from city who tried and tried to break through a well organised Arsenal defence. Only one team tried to win the game, no space bus parked and a game plan that worked for a point. Will it be enough for Arsenal only time will tell, for city huge task, but if Pep and the players can go on an unbeaten run and win the league this will be Peps greatest league title.
Arsenal had more shots on target plus Jesus went the wrong way for the Saka cross which should have ended up in the back of the net. Trossard went for the shot instead of passing it to Martineli. I don't think its fair to say only one team was trying to win the game.
If you want a specific team to win it, whether you support them or not, then it are not neutral.

Unpopular opinion, but I don’t care: Pep deserves a lot of blame with City’s form this season as his continual questionable setups, playing players out of position and stubbornness have all had a deleterious affect on the team’s overall performances this season. Love Pep, but if he can get the rightful praise for winning the treble, then he can also get the criticism when his over-tinkering leads to poor performances. He's saying it because no Liverpool team has gone to any ground parking the bus looking for a draw. You cant win with these pundits. Last year we went to Citeh and get slaughtered going for the title and they said Arsenal should go for a draw. This year we go for a draw and they say we should go for a win. Arsenal just can't win with these guys. Defense win titles. Offense wins games. COYG.
Liverpool and leister will disagree
aren't we up for a rood awaking in the epl this season to se city win thair 4 title
Craig can only think of Benzema and Kane , but not of Salah when talking about goal scores who have excellent link up play, seriously......
That just shows why Craig doesn't want or thinks Liverpool will win the League......he just doesn't like LFC and Klopp
Salah is more of a winger not a number 9.
Salah is not a striker you dunce. That's why he didn't mentioned Salah
Salah isn’t a No.9 and plays in a completely different position to Haland. Benzema, Kane and Lewa (last season) are a much closer comparison.
@@BruceLee1.0 I said goal scores not strikers, you God of Dunce,,....I am not Craig ur Dunce in crime
@@PiKay2304 ok dork
Jesus god man . Only Craig can get away with this on telly .
Get away with?
@paulgilliland2992
You must not watch a lot of telly. Real talk is back in. People are tired of Woke censorship.
You shouldn’t get bothered by someone mentioning “woke” culture and get offended and proceedto use the Lord’s name in vain. It’s a two way street
It should…but the premier league don’t have the stones 115
By the time he gets better, his team will be punished into league two.
Arteta rehearsing for UCL Semis
So confident that Arsenal can get into semi finals?
@@jeremykoh4115yes
Arsenal to reach the UCL semifinal this year? In your dreams.
Only teams with historic European success that will win the Champions League.
The likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Manchester United will have this pedigree, while Arsenal and City weren't!
@@ezraezra2928 very true...Arsenal most likely crash out...in Quarter finals...For arsenal to win UCL...maybe need 6 to 7 more years....Arsenal cant even win europa league...
@@ezraezra2928Yes, that’s why Arsenal are objective favorites. Go put your money on Bayern then, you muppet
All these pundits use to drive us crazy about Haaland, we use to tell them we happy with Nunez , that Nunez was not the finish product yet... Now we All see Haaland has to add more to his game too...
LETS GO CITYYYYY!!!! Visca City! Visca Pep Guardiola!!!!!
totally agree with Craigy just a gutless performance once again by Arsenal on the road obviously you'll have those melts who debate "we got a point" yeah nice one listen congratulations for stopping Man City from scoring superb stuff but from this point on yeah you Arsenal aint in the conversation
Pep should have utilized Julian Alvarez in this game when Haaland was having a poor game. Alvarez is exactly the striker profile to create something where space is limited as compared to Haaland.
Agreed
I’m an Arsenal fan but it’s hard to see them winning the league with their run in.
Liverpool is 🏆Because I'm SO GLAD JURGEN IS A 🔴YNWA
Next season tho..🫠
They talking about how a draw at Etihad could cost Arsenal the league. Yes but if Arsenal miss out this time it would be down to the VAR mess at Newcastle and Aston Villa. Happened last season as well but nobody talks about it.
As for Haaland DONT BLAME HIM GIVE CREDIT TO WIL SALIBA AND BIG GAB THEY TIED HIM UP IN KNOTS😂😂😂😂
There should be no praise at all for any top team which parks the bus, having decided to do so before the match. That is excusable for lower ranked teams but not Arsenal.
Arsenal deserves the league, they've been the best
