Hey Destin how about the engineering of sewing. I'm inspired by the recent Mother The Mountain Farm channel episode but also years in the military, repair and modification everyone needs to know but also every unit has that one guy who can design and sew tactical equipment for a bit of cash on the side. Ummm. Main channel stuff but figure better read here.

As someone who has given a small amount each month for a long while now, this fills me with an undeserved amount of joy and pride. I'm very happy to be a tiny part of this.

Future scientists, doctors, and chefs! I'm so happy that these young men are pursuing exciting futures where they can reach their full potential, and to hopefully pay it forward to their future communities and families. Genuinely inspiring.
Mario made me remember how difficult and long was studying english for me. I can speak and write almost effortlessly now, so i had forgotten what a hurdle that was.
Mario if you happen to read this, keep it up! It's worth all the pain. Also find stuff you like in english, for me it was light novels, anime and manga, i couldn't wait for them to be translated from english to my mothertongue, so i just started translating them on my own.

As I finish up a trip to Peru myself this week, I was glad to see this update. Thanks for raising awareness for the needs of Not Forgotten, as well as many organizations like it, that are doing a great work in the world.

Absolutely love you channel, my grandkids and I watch all of your vids and you've lit a fire in the oldest brain he says he wants to work with rockets when he gets older he's only 7 I know we all dreamed big when we we're young but believe me he's extremely smart he reads a lot and remembers what hes read , I told him he has to study hard and keep trying and learning new things and he'll be able to accomplish and conquer any task .

Destin covers this in some of the other not forgotten videos. The region has a cultural problem where boys are abandoned at much, much higher rates than girls, so these orphanages only take in boys.

I love that after every video by Destin, I open up my Bible app to see what the scripture says.
I wasn't expecting to cry right now, but then towards the end it dawned on me that the fact that these young men have indiviualized goals and dreams for themselves means that Not Forgotten has achieved their mission in breaking the cycle of abandonment (at least for these guys). They likely wouldn't have aspirations if they just went through some orphanage system that only aimed to keep them alive until tbey turn 18. This is beautiful.

Great video. You might want to consider running your audio through RTX voice or Adobe Podcast AI Which are free and can totally remove all background noises that are not speech. If you still want the background noise, you could. play your original track in the background at a lower volume for ambience.
