My favorite thing about a cross over episode is how 10 minutes in we are still in the depths of explaining how these two characters are able to meet.

I have seen this comic at my local comic shop for years, and if I had known it featured Thanos vs Parallax, I would of gotten it WAAAAAAAAAY sooner lol

I picked up this crossover back in the day and it got me into Green Lantern comics! I scoured the few comicbook stores in Western Australia over the next couple of years to find every back issue that featured Kyle and had an almost complete set. I loved that the Radu's Coffee logo was kept and referenced so regularly!
Hell of a threat by Sal, this book is fun. You know it’s a fun story when Ben is the one pointing out the common sense the characters in book lack.
This was the first comic I ever read and im really happy you guys are covering it. It got me into two of my favourite characters. Also to be fair with Hal/Parallax recreating the planet. The Power Cosmic has and is able to restore certain things, not a planet as far as I know, but maybe with Parallax's Oa Battery power?
Dang, aside from the deus ex machina portal, sounds like this comic really took the opportunity to play with parallels and have fun making the most of the opportunity with with both Green Lanterns and paralleling Silver Surfer and Parallax. That's pretty (Noran) Rad.
I wish DC and Marvel would just suck it up and do crossovers again.

I remember reading this comic as a kid and loving it.
So, Silver man who rides...some sort of board for some reason, whose entire body is sealed in a silver metallic shell, you say you saved us from Galactus and you want bathroom privileges for our planet. Sure, knock yourself out!

I started watching Star Trek: TOS at six years old. I didn't start collecting comic books until about 13. I was of course aware of the characters. We traded CBs for reading purposes at my elementary. There was the 60's Spiderman cartoon, Batman 66, Super Friends, Lynda Carter's Wonder Woman and Superman: The Movie. But, it was Star Trek that taught me that there were no benevolent gods. If someone dared claim that they were, you were duty-bound to slut shame them and destroy their power source... [sigh] It was a simpler time.
I saw the title and you unlocked a memory for me of this happening .
I literally had an “Oh…My…God.” moment
It was a lot easier to take this story for what it was when I was a kid.
Having grown up with Kyle Rayner as Green Lantern, I do relate to the annoyance of having a familiar character being replaced by the writers' new mascot, or in Hal Jordan's case old mascot, but at this point is something you have to either accept or just stop reading; because nothing is gonna stop them, it happened with Damian Wayne, it's happening now with Jon Kent, the only difference is that now is the turn of the millennial writers to piss off the gen X readers.

My first introduction to Kyle Rayner and Green Lantern lore. Lol. I still remember the panel where Kyle used constructs of bikini chicks to help the Surfer off the ground. Pretty sure I still got this lying around in a storage bin somewhere.

If Superman met Terrax, he would just think it's Darkseid in new armor, and Superman would beat the HELL out of him without asking questions.
Hal/Parallax wanting to bring back everything that was destroyed seems fine, but then you remember that Parallax, the embodiment of fear, is behind it, you kinda have to stop him/them/it/whatever.
DC Death should've showed up and just laugh at Thanos, for wanting to do something so asinine. Cute little goth girl talking down one of the most obsessed beings she has ever met lol.
As a Comic novice I have always had a question. We don't know how long Silver Surfer has been the herald of Galactus since his transformation. It could be a few years, but considering the number of planets Galactus has consumed in the meantime I think it must have been centuries if not millenium. Silver Surfer doesn't age imbued with the power cosmic. So how the hell is his Zenn-La, girlfriend not dead in the meantime?
Is there any distinctive mention of the time that Norin-Radd has spend a the Silver Surfer?
