Companies don’t even want to pay their employees, so I know they’re not going to spend all that money on this product
Exactly this
RIGHT!!!
Do these women live in some sort of rich utopia where things like this matter?!
But the music was so cheerful and inspiring!!
...still mid-video, but i don't see this going well. The soundtrack feels like a huge misdirect 😅
plus, out of 1000 customers, how many actually have children, out of those, how many actually use it....good product just not at that price.
Great point: the person that wants it is not the person that buys it.
From the sanitizing perspective: wipes and changing blanket. No need to go to this extent.
And from the business perspective, it's cheaper and easier to just increase the frequency of cleaning.
And it still doesn't solve the problem of putting the diaper bag on the floor...
UV can't clean the chocolate pudding smeared all over the table lol
My thoughts exactly
Or mustard,
or pea soup
Lol
Or apples sauce
When Barbara was born,
She turned to her mother, and said
I'M OUT
Ah!, you got me
😂
yes, lol.
Her mother had to high of an evaluation
I'm fking 💀💀💀
Hey @tzvi3660 - 1. your Barbara "joke" is not funny. 2. your Barbara is is not original, either. 3. ehhh??
"so I had another baby throughout this"
"what was the valuation"
Happy lunch time my fellow eastern standard time viewers
Literally eating lunch while watching rn 😭
Hahaha, i literally just finished my lunch 😂😂
😂😂😂I can’t even think of eating without watching
Having Brekkies on Maui.......
Food tastes better with Shark Tank
Great point by Kevin - the end customer is not the one making the buy decision
The price is ridiculous! After watching this I can order the almost exact replica of this from some manufacturer in China at a unit cost of under $500
Why not just have a sheet over the table that can be replaced, similar to a doctors office bed?
They do, but the paper has to be refreshed and isnt usually
Or just spray with alcohol hand sanitizer on the existing ones.
@@Adrian-lc6jq Scummy doccy
@@MotoManDan1 I think they mean that moms can carry disposable sheets in their diaper bag so they always have one and don't have to rely on a business
@sycamore-tree540 the parent can carry a ultraviolet flashlight with them too.. they avaluable now
A problem that can be solved with a stroller and a few sanitizing wipes. This is a product for rich people who have money to burn and don’t know what to do with it.
Snobs!
It's not for private customers.
@@Lommy9999 Its hardly for anyone, failed business idea
It's for businesses not customers. Like those commercial dyson hand dryers.
@@tyrellcobb4665 but NO business will buy it at that costs, hence the ZERO investment. Take the L and move on
The thing is going to need wiping down still, not convinced.
Pink dress's collar arrangement drove me crazy this entire video
if they create a pocket version of the uv light that the moms could use to sanitize the changing stations the businesses already have so the moms are the ones buying it and not the businesses buying it for the moms that may or may not come in with a baby
They do have UV sanitizing wands. That's just ANOTHER reason this table thing is stupid. A changing pad and Clorox wipes is all you need.
@@blazeparabellum7325 do they? i could believe that...and me personally when i have custody of my god daughter, i just used clorox wipes and put a blanket down..they were right that most moms would like their idea. but their biggest mistake was thinking the big corporations care enough to buy it for the moms and dads out there...maybe if they go to small businesses like one owned by younger gen z folks that care more about these things, but they would have to find a way to drop the price
“You sexist witch”
That’s what I was thinking.
@@blazeparabellum7325literally this
I am shocked that the sharks did not ask what it would take to get the costs down to $1k.
considering they all are supposed to be experts in suuply chain, they should say that would be part of their LOW offer...
Reducing the cost wouldn't matter. They've already stated the main problem multiple times which is the people who want the product aren't the ones buying it. Why would a business spend thousands of dollars on something that brings them no benefits. A business can buy a cheap plastic table for sub $100.
@@troletrain Lori made a good point those businesses that would buy this would be the super premium stores and restaurants.
@@dontbedummy8101 the proof is in the sales. Again, zero sales.
Most Mom's carry a changing pad with them, for the baby to lie on, which can be washed once home...and if they don't, they should/ could.
Problem is stores is general are going out of business. People shop online.
There are still plenty of venues and travel centers like airports
Can someone remind me when was the last time Daymond made an offer again?
who is daymond? was he there?
I think he just trying to make money, from ABC and not spending money on investing.
Remember guys BLM ✊🏿 😂😂😂

I could see this working in places with extremely high traffic only. If they can focus on getting this into Airports, malls, and amusement parks I think they’d do pretty well
Not really, its so expensive when the current ones are working just fine. Havent heard anyone having a problem with it
@@greatleecher2404 Just because you haven’t heard any complaints doesn’t mean others don’t. I’m sure all parents would prefer this over the basic changing tables especially in a post-pandemic environment. I’m sure Businesses looking to improve sanitary conditions for their customers would buy into this.
The hospitals not having them is a great indication that being sanitary is the last thing on people's mind when changing diapers@@kendall6287
The challenge is that it's a one time and done purchase. They need some sort of paid maintenance deal or changing the UV bulbs on a monthly basis, etc. Otherwise, it's not really a business one can survive off.
* Spray sanitizer and a paper towel.
* UV bulbs even when off may be more intimidating? * The guys that throw lime bikes in the lake will bash the lights just for fun?
* Plastic longevity for UV exposure ...
* Crazies may try free tanning by putting a pin in the lock mechanism/switch?!
I like Cuban wearing his shark socks😂
Why not just sell a rechargable hand held uv wand to parents? Those products are already avail for $40-80
or clorox wipes

Kevin seems to have softened in the later seasons. Good for him 👍.
Not that it was bad for him to be straight up though.
Why not build something where you can roll paper out… so each time it’s a new cover… then you can charge for the constant need of paper roll
The consumer isn't the one buying it, that was the best point made. So you need to go buy of a politician and make them a safety standard necessity.
How does it cost that much?? Get the cost down to 200.. sell for 500 to households.. parents would love a folding, self-cleaning changing table that can be pulled out when needed and folded up when you are done.
It is wild to see two very smart and capable people develop a product and not see why it doesn't make sense.

This is a nice to have, very nice to have. Like the Sharks said, businesses don't need this. Most business don't have people returning to work, therefore this won't be a need.
Oh poor you. You had to use a plastic table and a floor. What a drama. I hope you managed to survive that ordeal !!
Mustn’t expose our little ones to any germs! Hate sharing spaces with non-glamorous people
LMAO!
I love Lori's statement necklaces.
Cup noodles and Shark Tank. My 11:30 is awesome!
Can't you just sanitize the diaper changing table each time? Every grocery store has wipes outside the bathroom and soap and paper towels...
Waste of money for companies that don't need to put it in. New outlet and the table itself= $3500.00 and over
This was in a whole bunch of kids play places in Texas and I have seen it in every bathroom at DFW
how effective is UV lights anyway? When I had my hottub installed, the guy went over the 3 filters and said not to even worry about the UV light if it goes out since it barely does anything. Maybe it's just for water (in the case of the hotttub) but I think they are overselling the "desanitizing" this thing.
Why not just putting a little spray sanitizer and whipes on the side and this will be solved.. also 2.7 k less money per unit for the place 😅

Ton of connections and career successes does not qualify you for a successful business, they should have had a better idea here.
how about a liner for the reg changing tables lets design one whos with me?
I can see these in high end places, hotels, high end shopping
lets see I would have to change the light bulbs worry about broken glass broken units with lights out more head aches than its worth
This solution needs a problem 😂😂
When I see this device I see it in an upscale restaurants upscale hotels and definitely in the hospital industry especially the rich hospitals in rich neighborhoods rich people would eat that up
If the expenditures went to covering the costs at these locations already to create a selling point its game over. I'm out.
They may want to consider developing a personal travel changing bed instead and make it with antimicrobial materials. I'm in.
5:16 lmao what was that sound
I can't imagine using a public station without wiping it down regardless of what the light does or doesn't do. This isn't solving a problem because diaper bags have wet wipes and the routine would remain the same.
Was that Mark at 5:17?🤣
Great point by Kevin on the electrical installation and this device needs to pass a rigorous approvals process, people will put the baby inside close the cover to activate the light to try and make it faster...
Ad some advertising to it since you already have electricity coming in, share ad revenue with business that buy it... revenue share could be on a periodic basis.
Assuming the person before you closes the machine..
Can't tell you how many restrooms I've walked in where the changing table is already opened.
@@kleeamd8274 always open. Pick up your child, the bag. Hands are full,it stays open.

This should clearly be able to be produced for under $100, $200 max...
I had my 64oz Yeti full of Strawberry Watermelon Crystal Light with some beef stew on this cold winter day at work. What did everyone else have on your lunch break? :D
This company needs an affordable B2C play with similar tech.
If you close it with the baby inside can you also sanitize the baby?
😂😂😂🤣🤣
No one here can answer that question. Try writing a letter to the CEO's ... if you must have an answer !!
There are bacteria that are antibiotic resistant! Bad pass!
$2699?!? Are they nuts? Businesses are struggling and likely can’t afford it!
Hotels and Casinos would be a better market
You have to sell this product to convenient stores around the world and other store owners and entity businesses
and convince them the $500 kohola bear one w/o the light is bad
Daymond always reacts to 5% seekers then never gives an offer and goes out.
Was the pluie hyper speed demonstration intentional?
Most parents keep Lysol wipes for this reason
Happy lunchtime
All fun and games till there’s curse words etched in to it and cocaine residue caked all over it, nice things can’t be in the general public some times, kids would fool around with it etc, great idea but it would have to be in specific places, maybe a family bathroom
It's easy to raise millions when you're acquainted with yacht owners. But those ladies actually seem intelligent and will be successful whether through this business or doing something else.
I will always love these new moms that have no real conception of life.
Change your baby anywhere. Stop being a charity case.
It has to be good to raise millions from "friends and family". A lot of people just couldn't do that. Heck you got a lot of people who couldn't even raise a grand from friends and family.
Come on Daymond open your wallet !!
I think they are trying to educate businesses on a problem that really isn’t that big. Especially for that price. Good idea, but I’m out!
Why would a business drop 6x the cost when they can just buy those disposable wax paper covers
The cheesiness of the presentations on the Yank shark tank is nausea inducing.
IT should be readapt forconsumers to buy it not companies.
and how easy is it to break a tube?
I feel like they should make wipes and attachable hooks for these changing tables-
Edit- instead of the table they should make wipes and hooks to attach to public ones
This is awesome
Why not put the paper down on it instead of this whole thing 💀
The answer to a question never asked. How about just using wipes?
Hmmmm… I wonder if the handle to hang your purse on will become dirtier than the floor in seconds, then you’re putting that filth on your shoulder strap, then shoulder, than baby touches shoulder….
Completely pointless product. Good idea tho… Just over engineered.
Baby's you need this for the baby's and the bad one's
2 beautiful women..🥰
Yes, but clueless. 😂
Or you could just, you know, sanitize it with wet wipes
What a hideous valuation.
Mark’s kids are not going to use it, so he’s out
Change the item to sterilize needles for drug addicts and you got a deal😂😂😂😂😂 and that's for real somebody should come up with that
Is your idea "serious" ... or for laughter ?!? ehhh?
I wouldn't say these women are "so smart" honestly. The product is dumb, to be quite frank. And Mark pointed out the exact reason why. The people who wants this product aren't the people who buys the product.
Alright then okay
this is completely dumb all they need is a baby bed that can be filled with a spin of air use that to change them then deflate and put it back in a bag
Very good product and impressive entrepreneurs, but it didn't make sense for any of the sharks to invest with such high risk
Did anyone think of the potential harmful effects this can have on a baby?
This is exactly why more companies don’t have adequate paid family leave of 3 months… because only 5% of Fortune 500 companies are women. Sell this to a CEO that’s a mom and I’m sure their sell-through is higher.
I don’t think so because a lot of parents are already prepared to the unsanitary conditions in a public bathroom. Would they appreciate a product like this? Absolutely. Would they decide to support a business because they have this product? Probably not.
sweet lady
The issue the sharks continuously called them out on was that the consumer isn’t the one buying the product. I wonder if they could try a pay per use model where parents changing diapers pay $5 to use their product instead of the current tables. Any thoughts?
that would annoy customers more than anything else.. they will go out to their car, or use sink etc. The crappy changing table is enough to say they did somthing.
Stop ruining the outcome with the title!
How tf you patent UV light
It's the simplest of blueprint changes to add an electrical outlet where this device would go Mr Wonderful❤❤❤
Bruh
What’s for lunch fellas?
Only "lunch" you need to be concerned about is ... your own. Stop asking silly questions!
This is really stupid investment, what made them think that stores or companies would be willing to spend $2600 for changing tebl when they can get the regular ones for $200 it's not like costumers would go them because they have a nice changing table. They raised $3.6 millions for this useless piece of !4shitttttyt
Go sell it in Dubai!!!
