Organic Carrot Cultivation

Dr. James Dedecker, MSU UPREC director in Chatham, Michigan, describes weed control techniques being studied with organic carrots at the UPREC North Farm. Mechanical cultivation using mid-sized, walk-behind equipment is described and demonstrated.
