He is the first missionary that reached my husband's heart, and was a huge influence in his being re-baptised a month after Geoffery left the mission field. Well done thou good and faithful servant. Wonderful video. Made me cry too. My son just went into the MTC yesterday and is also going to the Hamilton New Zealand mission. They will probably meet somewhere along the way. He leaves for New Zealand Nov. 19. Another fun thing is President Rudd is his Uncle Kerry's best friend at work. We are very excited for him and your son.

I got called to the Auckland mission in January, and I'm leaving May 15, but then I found out that I'm going to be in the Hamilton mission starting July 1! I just googled Hamilton New Zealand mission and found your video and it made me even more excited to go! So exciting :)

Hi Elder (2b), We live in Hamilton NZ, and were screaming with excitement too, because we watch alot of missionaries getting their calls, and u are the first that we have seen coming to the new NZ Hamilton mission. NZ has always had just 2 missions until this July (except once a long long time ago there were three missions for a time. The Hamilton NZ mission opens on July the 1st, and this is definately a first for Hamilton. Hamilton is a city of around 160,000 people. THere are 4 stakes
My family is from Hamilton just outta Cambridge and Hobbiton - Matamata. I am Christian but I know of a few LDS fellows from the church in Glenview, Hamilton and played rugby against the boys from Church college of NZ.

Hamilton has the only temple in Nz, But the training centre is only a few years old. It has moved from Hamilton to Auckland. THere is a beautiful site for a temple (in Auckland) near it. All the best with ur preparation. U are needed here. We have some beautiful friends that we are trying to work with. What a pioneer. U are one of the first missionaries in the NZ Hamilton Mission. Yee haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Wow no one watched me open mine just me and a friend it must be nice to have a supportive family. My mom didnt even speak at my farewell! Everybody I knew was telling me I wouldn't make it two year's.Pretty cool to see how impactful this experience can be. Hope u killed it dude, best two years!
cont....We are so happy for u and ur family. I served in the Wellington NZ mission, and my husband in Canada. We have 4 daughters. At the moment (until Jul) Hamilton is part of the Auckland NZ mission. (We are only 2 hours drive from Auckland). Auckland has 1.5million people...Hamilton Mission and then the Wellington Mission (includes the South island). So with just 4 stakes in Hamilton u might get to go to Rotorua and other beautiful parts of the country.

Wow, so I was just scrolling through LDS videos and this particular one stood out to me. It said , Elder Saville to report to the NZ Mtc on the 12th September, 2013. The dates stood out and came to my attention that he is currently in the Mtc, I'm a teacher at the Mtc , so I thought id go into Mtc on Monday and look for him! Well, there he was sitting in one of my workshops! One of the lasts ones! Such a humble missionary. I took a photo with him and his companion if you'd like it :)
Hi I am good friends with Shervan and also an American living in NZ my hubby eveb has an Aunty living in Sandy:) We are in Te Awamutu just outside of Hamilton like Shervan said dont worry mum we will look after him:) You will love the chocolate here and you might want to learn a bit about rugby as it is a great ice breaker for conversations because if there is one thing Kiwi's love its their rugby!:) Congrats!!!
