  • in this video i will make a variable voltage and current regulator. lm317 used as voltage regulator which can regulate 0 to 37 volt and TIP-3055 transistor used for current. this is variable current and voltage power supply.this voltage regulator circuit contains ,TIP-3055, regulator lm317 ,resistor, capacitors,potentiometer, dc volt meter.this adjustable voltage regulator can be use as battery charger. electronics lover

    Back in the 80's I worked for an electronics company in Los Angeles that routinely went through its shelves and threw out parts, for what purpose, I don't know. I *do* know that they were trying to manipulate their P/L. They also received lots of sample parts from manufacturers who wanted to become suppliers. But on those days when they threw stuff out, their dumpster was an absolute hobbyist's dream. I got bags and bags of brand new 2 watt resistors, but the best find was a bag of 500 brand new LM350 regulators in TO-220. It would have been nice if ebay existed back then. I probably used 3 of them and either gave or threw the rest away.

      @@ramanarao32 Yeah, tragic, bordering on stupid. They were Motorolas, too. But how many can you use? I was in a situation where I had to get rid of everything I owned, the LM350s weren't the only victim.

    Will the circuit work properly if I use 19.5vof 2.31A charger of laptop and connect its output with dc to dc step up module (XL6009) and adjust it to 24v dc and then connect this output wires to 300watt dc to dc 10A stepdown buck converter to get a output voltage varies from 24v to 1.2v?

    Here is a challenge. Get a 30 volt, 10 amp supply to provide power, and hook it up to the input. Set the output to 1 volt. Make a load using a 2-watt, 0.1 ohm resistor. At 1 volt it will draw 10 amps. Start a camera taking video of your box. Connect the load. Watch your circuit fail. Publish the video on CZcams.
    That circuit cannot possibly provide what you claim it will. At the least, the heat sink is puny and the pass transistors will overheat and fail. For an output of 30 volts and 10 amps, you''ll need at least a 35 volt input supply, since each 1 ohm resistor will drop 5 volts. Worst-case stress on the transistors is not at a high output voltage, but at low output voltage.

      para llegar a 30v necesitamos una fuente de alimentación de 30v... no tengo una fuente de alimentación de 30v, por lo tanto, solo uso una fuente de alimentación de 17v...

    Вечно пишут 10 ампер 30вольт а как доходит до теста так вечно то светодиод в нагрузку то кулер компьютерный гдееее реальная нагрузка гдеееееее хотя бы галогенку автомобильную.

      Потому что для реальной нагрузки нужен Большой радиатор и его надо охлаждать Сильным вентилятором...Кто занимался этим знает,что это такое.
