Sourdough bread, brie cheese and put it in the oven for a few minutes. Add mixed nuts, sour apple cut in small sticks & honey 👌 You can add a bit of salad to the side or some raisins
Right before I stumbled on this video I had toasted a piece of my sourdough from yesterday in an air fryer with: olive oil, Kerry Gold cheddar, everything but the salt seasoning, home dried chili flakes, and pancetta. Sourdough toast is amazing.
Cornstarch is great for quick sauce thickening, but unstable for even overnight storage. I found that out the hard way after stashing leftover Chinese in the fridge. A brunch avo toast I've seen has a scoop of almond "cheese" on top garnished with a twist of pickled carrot ribbon. So many variations out there and so little time and money to sample them all.
You need to learn about *"Welsh rarebit"* . It's the ultimate comfort food and the most indulgent thing you can do with toast. You're an excellent chef and you'll Do a great Job with it 😉
I love your channel. Wish you lived local so you could teach me how to make good bread and sourdough bread. I have tried and I don’t get it right. It got too frustrating.
So, a really weird question, but Lemon/Lime juice should work too, to make fe$h ricci, doesn't it? Would leave me with tastier, not vinegar-y whey, and make for a tasty sweet called "Sig" (essentially very VERY reduced, caramellized whey, they make that in the alps in Austria and Swizerland, it's pretty baller and reltively easy, if time-consuming), because I hate throwing good and usable food away. You know, living that frugal and zero-waste life. At least I'm trying. Here and there.
With food prices high and continuing to rise, there are some things I won't trust strangers to do for me...like choosing produce. Not to mention global demand for avo has exceeded supply since the whole toast craze began, making them pricier than ever before. Trouble is, older stocks of perishables either get tossed out or are sold to someone who's least likely to make a fuss about receiving food in decline.
Nope. Only way to eat avocado toast is, mush avocado with salt, pepper and lemon juice. Take good chunky white bread, toast, butter while still hot, and spread as thick as possible. Been eating this since the 80's, and no other way beats it!

Avocado toast: impress basic white girls everywhere by making them 10% of a salad. That ricotta and strawberry combination looks absolutely fantastic though.

If you have truly fresh eggs (out of the backyard chicken coop), you don't need the vinegar
What did Tom and Jerry say? Mice are nice on toast or rice. Yours looks better.
