You missed a step. Jesus rebuked ... the spirit cried ... convulsed him ... came out of him ... then he looked like one dead. So the spirit didn't come out instantly ... but appears as it was coming out it convulsed the boy ... so it wasn't 1/2 hour later or next day ... when Jesus speaks it happens NOW !
1:04 he use the Lords name in vain, what’s that all about?
And you ADDED to the story. Not GOOD ! The boy was not having seizure when the dad brought his son to Jesus ... he only explained the boys history ... what we know is that immediately after Jesus' rebuke the devil departed ... and the devil coming out either caused the "tenting" or the devil "rented" the boy. BUT the boy wasn't manifesting a seizure when his Dad brought him to Jesus.
