This is a piece anyone would be proud to have in their home. I see now that you are a perfectionist. I can relate. Your staging is perfect also...not too much so as to keep the piece as the main focus. Thanx for enlightening me to that. I believe your blending is by far some of the BEST I've seen.

This piece of furniture was beautiful before. You topped it! Just outstanding job of beautification. The stenciled on the top was “the frosting on the cake”, just balanced out the design of colors.

If you have never chalk painted before I would advise starting with something more simple. If you must start with this then I would suggest practicing on some scrap wood first!
@@KachaFurniture yes for sure , I don't have a pc this wonderful yet , ima practice on a few sm pcs 1st . but only cause I want a beautiful pc like this ... And I don't have much of a budget lolol and in the end I'll have a new skill level and a beautiful pc to enjoy

What a beautiful way to create that vintage pink look! I love pink and I want to paint my cedar chest pink....I’m wondering when you go back in with base color are you dry brushing to blend the two....? I read you wet the brush as you go ...what a great tip ...I find if you are painting a decent size piece the brush can get very dry and makes for a difficult smooth final effect. Oh and although I’m not a gold fan I love the accents and hardware in that color!! Thank you for sharing😊

I use a combination of techniques. Usually the wet part is always for blending or doing a wash! ❤️
