I was just going to ask about this too! I couldnât find it in her shop đ I have it saved now thanks to the link!! I feel like my budget makes way more sense when I can literally map out what bills each paycheck is covering!
this is SOOOO helpful! I absolutely love your series!
Thank you so much for this series! I feel so blessed to have found your channel! I finally feel like I "get it"! For the first time I feel hopeful that I have the pactical, easy to understand information I need to finally set up and stick to a budget!
Thank you so much for this comment. It makes me so happy to hear how this series has helped you. Good luck on your financial journey! Remember to stay consistent!
Thank you
this information is so simply explained and useful!
Thank you for watching! Happy to hear it's helpful! I'll be doing an update video soon!
How would you modify this to 2xmonth pay only. No 3rd paycheck ever.
Are you paid twice a month on set dates? I used to get paid on the 10th and 25th each month and to be honest I was not budgeting the way that I do now, which is by paycheck. If I were to budget those paychecks now, I would budget by paycheck and highlight the bills/expenses that fall under the paycheck budget period similar to what I did in the video. I hope that helped :)
@@apurposefulbudget yes that's what I'm doing by paycheck. When I go to draw out the calendar view though I feel like it's off b/c our paychecks don't really go 1st-end of month. The 25th has to cover the bills etc.. until atleast the 10 or 15th of the following month. The 10th paycheck covers until the 25th. Does that make since? I feel like the traditional calendar view doesn't fit. However I do like the visual aid of the calendar view. suggestions?
I get paid twice a month 5th and 20th. So when I get paid on the 20th that needs to cover me until the 5th of the following month. I would highlight that paycheck with the bills Iâll be paying with it. Iâll need three different highlights so when I go into the next month itâs not the same as the two other paychecks. Hope that makes sense đ similar to what she does in her video
I know this is an older video- do you have any suggestions for if my spouse and I are getting paid on different schedules? (I get paid weekly, they get paid biweekly).
Hey there! My answer to these questions is usually: "it depends" đ usually depends on your preference and your bills & expenses.
What I would do is breakdown your budget biweekly. That would mean in a biweekly budget you'll have 3 incomes to map out (your 2 weekly paychecks and your spouse's 1 biweekly paycheck). What gets tricky are the dates because they won't always line up to be in one full month and in some months your weekly paychecks could be 5 paychecks vs 4, and 3 biweekly paychecks vs 2.
I'll keep this in mind for future videos. I'll make budgeting examples based on a scenario different from mine. Hopefully it'll help.
Hi! Where can I find the printable calendars?
How many pages did you leave between the finance goals and the budget calender
Hey there! There are 2 full pages (blank front and back) between the financial goals section and budget calendar.
@@apurposefulbudget thank you great serise
