Prime Rib Smoked On The Weber Kettle

- Anytime of year is great for Prime Rib, but Christmas is when it shines for those special gatherings of family and friends. And one of my favorite ways to prepare this special cut of beef is slow smoking it on the Weber Kettle, with a finishing touch of herbed butter.

Just did one couple days ago. Had to practice you know... so good! There was no leftovers
my niece insists on cooking the prime rib every year. this year i have one for me for new years to do myself in the cajun bandit performer with the billows and signals. and apple wood. i wish i had some oak for this but i live in the apple state. i have lots of apple and maple. oak goes to the slab guys. love it ry. your music puts me to sleep. lol

For my Christmas dinner, I'm using a ribeye roast (boneless) on a Weber rotisserie using the Meater temp probe. I also have an Ambiant probe for the kettle's temp, not at the top, but at the grill location. Thanks Ry for your expertise!

I wish I had a freezer setup because my favorite real 24/7 grocery store local 10 stores has right now Sugardale shank portion hams for 98¢ per pound.
