This is probably awful of me to say, but I think Genki is enjoying having all the food to herself and being able to eat in peace. She loves her food! Hope Gentaro just doesn't want to come out in the rain; two sick gorillas would be too much to bear.
I dont think shes bothered by situation at all seeming the craziness she herself has been through at her older zoo's. But you can see the joy in her face when she 1st came out with her lip bouncing and Genki saliva coming off. Im worried when Momo comes back if she will forget her lunch route and not interfere with Momotaro.
@@livieandevie I find she is eating slower and more relaxed and eating good stuff. I always noticed that she was usually eating all the dry bits on the ground or what kintaro threw down from the ceiling. she was a good mom she ate leftover crap no one else wanted lol
Poor baby Kintaro 💞 he is so sad😔 It's painful to see him so depressed. I hope the Zoo keepers are watching him closely. He needs to eat and move, exercise. Praying for them.🙏

Perhaps Kintaro is unwell too. That's a good reason for him to be listless. They're gorillas. Don't think their brains are sophisticated enough for them to "miss" Momotaro or Gentaro. Get a grip there.
@@lizclarke8285 well the keepers said he wasn’t sick that it was a sort of depression. Since his dad has been doing better he has started eating and is playing again with his brother and dad.

I stumbled on these gorillas looking at Sasquatch vids. Now they are the first thing I watch in the morning while drinking coffee. This health issue with Momotaro is so sad to see but he's a 400lb acrobatic silverback who'll be stealing food from his family again in no time. Didnt realize how emotional Gentaro was. I always imagined him thinking of Shakespearian plots regarding his place in his family but seeing him at his Dad's side has me thinking differently.

I imagine they're still eating when indoors, at least? Maybe they just feel more comfortable foraging near Momotaro. The rain probably hasn't helped either. We all know how Momotaro prefers walking on two legs when it's wet.

Gentaro chose to stay inside with dad. Momotaro I'm sure it helps both of them mentally and physically. As for Kintaro, he clings to his mom due to a certain uneasiness and rain. On the other hand I'm baffled by some comments when it comes to Genki's ways of behaving. She is selfish. She is taking advantage of Gentaro and Momotaro's absence to eat more. Wrong. She is aware of her husband's state but she keeps going because she has to take care and breast feed Kintaro. That being said I really hope that we will get good news very soon.

Она расстроилась, когда пошел сильный дождь, и ей пришлось вернуться в комнату, ведь она еще не все вкусности собрала (она выглядывает из комнаты, проверяя закончился дождь или нет..) Кинтаро расстроен поведением мамы и папы, он в ужасе от их неуёмного аппетита, он думает: неужели смысл жизни только в еде? :)))
Постоянно ест жадно и очень много, что за неуемный аппетит! Даже её мужчины едят на порядок меньше. И что интересно, Генки готова поделиться теплом, лаской, добротой, заботой, но только ....не едой. Отберёт, отнимет, выхватит, вырвет из детской ручонки и сожрет! Не конкурирует только с Момо, он ей однажды показал, кто в доме хозяин.

Но после того, как увидела грусть и отчаяние в глазах Гентаро и Кинтаро по поводу болезни Момотаро, больше никого из них не осуждаю - они всем показали, что их все устраивает в семейных взаимоотношениях, они настоящая семья! Пусть едят как им нравится, лишь бы все были здоровы и веселы! Я теперь только наблюдаю за ними, да иногда не удерживаюсь, пишу свои наблюдения в комментах :)

Yes . birds at the zoo. Gentaro didin't appear in the morning. Yet he narrowly came out in the afternoon , at the last moment before the closing time. The video regarding Gentaro in the afternoon is uploaded in 12 hours. I am in the middle of editing it at the moment.
@@WahranRai If you watch gorillas in the wild, thats all they eat grass leaves and lots of bark , thats why the trees are covered here as they will take every piece of bark off. In the wild you will see all the trees that have no bark. they may discover a fruit tree theybgo too when ripe. They spend 8-10 hours grazing for food in the wild. There is some documentaries on youtube of them in the wild or protecred sanctuaries to learn how they really are. It helped me to understand that these guys are good
Momo is not well at present due to the adverse side effects of a powerful antibiotics. Momotaro has had a diarrhoea and getting treated for it. The staff at Kyoto Zoo are taking care of momo. That being I was informed that momo is recovering well, and in due time he’ll be back to normal again.

Генки смешно выбегает из комнаты в погоне за самыми вкусными кусочками еды, которые ей не достались бы никогда, если Момотаро был бы здоров и вышел первым! Она расстроилась, когда пошел сильный дождь, и ей пришлось вернуться в комнату, ведь она еще не все вкусности собрала (она выглядывает из комнаты, проверяя закончился дождь или нет..) Кинтаро расстроен поведением мамы и папы, он в ужасе от их неуёмного аппетита, он думает: неужели смысл жизни только в еде? :)))
Постоянно ест жадно и очень много, что за неуемный аппетит! Даже её мужчины едят на порядок меньше. И что интересно, Генки готова поделиться теплом, лаской, добротой, заботой, но только ....не едой. Отберёт, отнимет, выхватит, вырвет из детской ручонки и сожрет! Не конкурирует только с Момо, он ей однажды показал, кто в доме хозяин.

Но после того, как увидела грусть и отчаяние в глазах Гентаро и Кинтаро по поводу болезни Момотаро, больше никого из них не осуждаю - они всем показали, что их все устраивает в семейных взаимоотношениях, они настоящая семья! Пусть едят как им нравится, лишь бы все были здоровы и веселы! Я теперь только наблюдаю за ними, да иногда не удерживаюсь, пишу свои наблюдения в комментах :)

Any policies will not be working at all. Everything has done unfinished and by halves. Anyway the period of the time will be good for Momotaro and his family , which would be able to spend without any stressful things in the background.

Momotaro🦍 has been suffering from diarrhea since the end of last week. （Excerpt from the Instagram article）
We have been giving him antibiotics for the wound on his jaw that has been there for a long time, but recently we gave him a new antibiotic and it seems to have had a side effect of upsetting his stomach. We knew there would be side effects, but the they were stronger than expected, and now that the wound has stopped draining, we have stopped the antibiotics and are giving his medication to stop the diarrhea. He hardly ate at the weekend, but today (the 17th) he started to eat bananas, oranges, nutritional supplements and oral rehydration solution in the morning.

They live next to the gibbon enclosure. They are doing the deep howling. I don't know if the Parrott like sounds are them too.
They have same noises in forest. Some maybe even more annoying than the howler.

How come gentaro didn't come out? He got sick too. How is bad situation for kintaro but genki alywas plays and watches the young kintaro. Genki is best the mother for her kids. Hope momo and gentaro get well soon.
The two boys are not sick but feel depressed because of his dad is not feeling well.

Yes . birds at the zoo. Gentaro didin't appear in the morning. Yet he narrowly came out in the afternoon , at the last moment before the closing time. The video regarding Gentaro in the afternoon is uploaded in 12 hours. I am in the middle of editing it at the moment.

They eat lots of veggies in their interior quarters in the afternoon.
They eat vegetables and fruit at breakfast and dinner inside for their main meals, outside is basically snacks and foraging and enrichment

@@WahranRai If you watch gorillas in the wild, thats all they eat grass leaves and lots of bark , thats why the trees are covered here as they will take every piece of bark off. In the wild you will see all the trees that have no bark. they may discover a fruit tree theybgo too when ripe. They spend 8-10 hours grazing for food in the wild. There is some documentaries on youtube of them in the wild or protecred sanctuaries to learn how they really are. It helped me to understand that these guys are good

Even zoo keepers have no idea how he got the wound. Possibly he hurt himself when doing something and the part got infected.

明らかに、モモタロウが寝込んだ月曜からゲンタロウは食べなくなりました。
室内ではもしかしたら、食べ易いものを何か貰ってるかも？

Momo is not well at present due to the adverse side effects of a powerful antibiotics. Momotaro has had a diarrhoea and getting treated for it. The staff at Kyoto Zoo are taking care of momo. That being I was informed that momo is recovering well, and in due time he’ll be back to normal again.

Therefore severe rain is a piece of a cake. Uncountable quakes hit Japan including Kyoto.
