The country version in the second half of the video is called an enclave. In the Netherlands, we have Belgium enclaves and the other way around, but there are no enclaves in those enclaves.

For the countries part it is called “exclaves” and “enclaves”, there is also a *LOT* of other examples like in the border between India and Bangladesh
Edit: The border is now simplified so there’s no more in India-Bangladesh border

The UAE Oman example could've continued 1 extra step because there's a chunk of Oman to the north of the UAE surrounded by just water so effectively the UAE is sandwiched between them

The one at the end is called Baarle-Nassau, it's a set of 26 areas divided between Belgium and the Netherlands. 22 are Belgian exclaves in the Netherlands, and there are also 6 Dutch exclaves _within_ the largest Belgian area. It's insane, good thing there's no longer a border.
