Try to have the child hold an object with their chin against their shoulder with neck rotation. Make sure the child has their fingers pointed forward and flat while not locking out their elbows.

It helps with integrating the persistent ATNR reflex. Unintegrated ATNR reflexs affects eye hand coordination and leads to immature neuro motor development.
