INSTANT SAMPLE LIBRARY PURCHASE REMORSE. OUCH !!!

Software is rarely returnable or transferable. We all do our best to make good purchasing decisions. We listen to the demos, watch the walkthroughs, but sometimes we choose poorly.
I include a few tips for finding value in a sample library that has disappointed you.

Audio Demos are almost always done on high-end systems including pro-level soundcards & anywhere from 96,000 kps to 192,000 kps sampling rates(Hi-def audio)
And generally gear that is not what the average user has, or can afford.
Especially when done by retailers, as they want to sell their product, so naturally they want to present it in the best way possible.
So when you play it on your 16, or 32gb system , of course it won't sound as good.☹

Yeah sample libraries are certainly a sketchy game for sure and the cost of regret can be steep. I do not have that many as I the ones in Cubase and tweak them, but Keyscape will never leave my collection. I have yet to hear anything better and I either tested or heard a lot of them. Their EPs are fantastic as well, but I have used that C7 Rock Piano, I agree it is amazing! I have some of Vienna Symphonic libraries and to me they sound great, admittedly I have just dipped my toe into orchestration scoring so there may be better options, but I just did not jive with the sound of East West.

I have some virtual synths and library episodes coming up... not everything is a gem. Thanks for the comment.

i got two sample packs in my life. I didn't use any. Easy cured :) Not buying any again.
