    Gracias, Rebecca. Estoy aprendiendo inglés a través de su literatura, y entiendo prácticamente todo lo que decís, que es muy claro, y que acerca una muy buena introducción a Blake. Buscaré más videos tuyos. Saludos desde Argentina.

    Thank you for your speech maam... But when I read it, I realise a different meaning. We all see there is a little child. Now if we are started to read this poem change the meaning' of the 'Child' as 'The Son Of God' (Child=The Son Of God=Jesus) and the lamb as the people, we found a totally different picture of this poem. Now its look like an advocacy of Jesus to the God. It is look like Jesus came in this world to tell the common people about God and Himself.

      Rajdeep Roy Adhikari Good point! Blake was a mystic who saw angels as a youngster, so you are right to mention this aspect.

    Is the the lamb a romatic poem?
    Who can give me the answer?

    • @funsalmon
      @funsalmon Před 4 lety

      it is a Romanticist poem, as Blake was a poet of Romanticism. That's not exactly the same as being "romantic."

  • @ln14517
    @ln14517 Před 10 lety

    I enjoyed the poem as we'll. I wonder if call-ed is still okay to use today? If so it would have been helpful in middle school when I had to write 5 or 6 poems for a english assignment.

    • @SixMinuteScholar
      @SixMinuteScholar  Před 10 lety

      Haha! Nowadays, we can't use it without sounding archaic (meaning, old). But if you wrote in the voice of a character who was alive in the 1700's, you could get away with it! Yeah, I wrote some poems for classes, too. Some turned out OK. I actually went on to become a poet, but I write in free verse. :-)
