Hopefully Giants actually listens to the community for the next game. A new engine to take advantage of mods like this, expanded pastures, enhanced animals, maize plus, dry corn and everything from ThundR would make an amazing game.
I bet they didnt include GPS on FS22 due to the older consoles.
I 100% agree - but sadly, I don't think that these sorts of gameplay mechanisms will ever be officially added to FarmSim. Why? Because a majority of players just want the simple arcade experience. They want lots of green or red tractors, superficial cosmetics and things to just 'have fun' with. Those of us who are hardcore simulator enthusiasts are typically the most vocal, I know I am on the steam forums and in the subreddit, but unfortunately Giants knows what will sell the most copies of their game. Introducing more complexities will drive away their biggest player base, and thus, it is probably not in their best interest from a business perspective to add more.
Again - I agree with everything you've said, I realy wish there was more, but in FS25 or whatever major edition comes next, don't get your hopes up. We'll see the usual stuff, 2 or 3 'headline' features, probably things that they just took from modders and put their own spin on it, a new map or two, lots of new equipment, and that'll be about it.
@@rbfishcs123 sadly I’m 100% in agreement, the hardcore Farm Sim players who want the simulation and realism are a very small part of who buys the game in the grand scheme of things so they make what sells to the masses
@@TheFarmSimGuy Well they could always make it a toggleable option at the start of the game. I mean if they can do things like Precision Farming as an add-in mod and others like the "Giants helper", which seems to be a basic copy of Auto Drive but with less complexity, why can't they make it an option to have the more sim like features too? They have been making the game "FS" for years now and it seems weird that it still take modders to add in all the stuff Giants should have considered already. Think it was FS19 when they finally put a seasonal rotation in the game by absorbing the modder/s who made Seasons and then they just in 22 add in the ability to tell helpers where to go with the Giants helper" function. That should have been in from the beginning same with Seasons. Then you have the flat ground thing, surely in this day and age of computers and the capabilities they have why do we still not have deformable terrain when modders have put it in a couple of versions ago?

I knew it is definitely possible to get a moving map in cab like real combines etc and am still really hoping that would be a standard feature in the next version of Farming Simulator instead of a dead static useless screen.
OK wow, I'm blown away by these mods, just amazing. realism is really coming to the equipment, hopefully real-life mechanical break downs become part of the game for expert mode, watching the farm channels, its part of the life for them. great stuff by LSFM
My mind is just blown away. Lsfm modders are just by far the best ever in my opinion, period. I would love them to take over create Farming simulator from now on. That would just brought up beyond limits and give the game a hole new life. Sorry, I'm just amazed about what they do, loving it. I will definitely get this. Thanks for a incredible GPS mod video
Wow!!! This is really cool! Thanks for sharing this and bringing it to our attention. You hit the nail right on the head when you mentioned that the game is just now (3 years in) hitting full stride. I know I am in the minority; but... I would really appreciate it if Giants would give 22 one more year before pulling the plug and starting all over with the next version of this great game.
Yeah it’s such a shame to hit the reset button again, I always think year 3 is the most enjoyable year.

My first was an amstrad cpc464 and it was breath taking. 🤣🤣🤣 waiting hours for eagles nest to load and then it crashes. Ohhh the joys.

The non cross play Valtra package on modhub I believe was the first to do fire pressure. That was like a year and a half ago? Also JHHG did a fantastic PC version of his combines on his Facebook with IC in them. Can’t remember who first did the loader audio with the windows open first but that has been around awhile too. All great mods!

OMG this is amazing, modders have come so far and into 2024. This should just be basics included in Farming simulator 2025. I know I'm dreaming and obviously will never happen. But I'm serious about that it should be
Holy cow! That's wicked! So, are these extra mods (map pda, camera, interactive controls) just for those specific vehicles, or is it like a universal thing?
Interactive controls is mostly universal (not 100%), cause most mod creators already have it implemented. As for the PDA and cameras, they can be used on any equipment but you have to manually configure them for each individual mod. There are some tutorials out there on how to do so. However, the vehicles in this video already have all of them built into the mod, ready for everyone to ENJOY!

I didn't even think this stuff was capable with the engine. We're going to need more of the "help" menu for buttons on FS25 if this stuff is going to be more common
Great Review these are great mods I've used them and they are good, There are also other tractors that it works with John Deere 8R/ 7R /JCB Fastrac 8330/ Fendt 700 all available on LS farming and Hof Bergmann is a really good map by Farmer Andy has different productions that you don't need to get mods for built into the map.
This is a feature that should be in base game

Hi Michael, the vehicles would need to be configured for the mods for them to work, so hopefully some other modders might implement them

With this Vario Grip, when you deflate tyres, it looks like u've got a flat. But it's only at the bottom of the tyre so I wouldn't worry about it 🤣😂

There's a mod that lets you sit in de cab and start the engine while in the shop before buying.
Until I get a stronger pc I will just dream about using these

You can add them to other tractors, it takes a bit of modding but they have tutorials on the mod pages

this is just a perfect testament on how bad the real FS developers are if a modder can do this... and yet we are still in ps3 era graphics and physics.

That’s exactly why we’re in ps3 era graphics, because we’re supporting PS4 and Xbox 1, not the devs fault, commercial decision to sell more copies by having it on more platforms, but the limitations of those platforms means the games development is capped to accommodate them
@@TheFarmSimGuy i don't agree. We need to keep them accountable. We got a re-bundled fs19 with fs22 while there are awesome looking and impressive new titles. I'm definitely not gonna buy fs24 if no major changes happen.

@@TheFarmSimGuyagree not the devs fault, but it is Giants leadership fault because of their choice to support older platforms is causing the game not to progress. I have been around for a minute and it’s the same old story. Until Giants truly embraces the modding community and genuinely acknowledges the customers feedback, this game will continue to decline. How many quality modders and players have walked because the game is stagnant? People play the game because they still desire it, but FS22 for the most part consists of mods that existed and were converted from FS19. Giant’s ego toward the development of the game will be their demise unfortunately

You need to set the keybinds for them, there are good videos on the LSFM site, they are in german but use the auto translation to English and they are easy to understand

This needs to be base game minimum. Giant's should be embarrassed frankly.
Giants totally sucks even at making a general update for the game. I’ve been saying for years the tractors trucks cars are not that real. No sound of tire squeaks break squeaks the weather graphics are low quality The AI is hell of pathetic. The game is stiff giants totally suck
