    What blade did you find worked best for such thick letters? (I mostly scroll with very thin stock!)

      I believe I used a #5 reverse for these which gives a smoother cut but you have to be more careful. I use a #9 if I don't mind a larger gap and rougher cut. A #7 would give you somewhere in between.

      With practice yes. It will not be as precise but it will work

      I use a mix of shelack and food dye. Makes it completely safe when cured. I'd stay away from spray paint for kids projects.
