    ABOUT ME:
Thanks for visiting my channel, I hope you enjoyed the video! I started Caterpillar Cross Stitch in 2015 when I tried desperately for months to find a modern baby sampler my mum could stitch for new baby Felicity that would fit in with her simple, contemporary nursery. I love cross stitch, running, baking fruit cakes, drinking gin, eating salted caramel ice cream and most crafts!
See you soon and happy stitching! Sally x

I agree Aida fabric is the best. I'm not new to cross stitch. But I didn't understand about the count so this was useful thank you.

Hi Mari, thanks for watching. The fabric for the Sally and caterpillar was Zweigart 14 count aida 3706/118 "Aida Star"

Do I have to use water canvas if I want to cross stitch on fabric? Or can I just use the aida on top of the fabric? Will be thick but can I do that?

When I dont muy a kit, where the fabric is already cut in the size of the desing. How much should I measure aditional before I cut?
The magazine says "design stich count 128 Hugh x 118 wide. Design área 20x19 cm (8x7 1\4in)"

Add at least 2 inches to every side so a 8 x 10 project would become 12 x 14 inch piece of fabric (or larger)

Another highly informative video answering questions so many people have when starting out :-)
I still really hate the music you use but at least it's not for long :-D
A tad disappointed to hear you tell people to go to hobby lobby in the U.S. I know they are a huge retailer but 2 minutes on Google and you realise they do not possess a conscience! And not on one issue but multiples. Oh well :-/

Hello, thanks for watching. I'm sorry you hate the music! Do you prefer no music at all on videos or just a different style of music? Sorry about the Hobby Lobby mention. I hadn't done much research into their background before this video, it was purely for convenience for US stitchers to grab supplies. If there are any better suppliers for stitchers to choose from, please comment below : )

gamecrown166 Thanks for this. Hobby Lobby is evil. Disappointing when they get a shout out by crafters.
