This video is family friendly, but The Sims 4 is rated T for Teen and this video is intended for an audience aged 13 and up.
Business Inquiries: teamlilsimsie@unitedtalent.com - Hry
I want an Elders pack. Could have a retirement village pack where you get a retirement village neighborhood that you can put businesses in (restaurants, spas, etc.), have a golf course (so golf would be added), have golf carts that they can ride around in, have smaller houses that connect together as retirement apartments/townhouses, have rec centers, new clothes and hair and options. Could be great to have a family reunion at the senior center.
I love this idea!
And could have mobility devices such as scooters, walkers, and canes!
That's a great idea
i just wanted generations to actually be a good pack and have multiple features for every life stage instead of ignoring elders once again
love this idea but I think with the amount you put in it might be a game pack@@chaunceywilliams4584
I'm a daycare teacher, so here are potential cool ideas beyond an infant swing:
- play tables that babies jump in
- those pool floaties specifically for young kids that they sit in
- more mass produced type cots and cribs that would fit the dedicated daycare theme
- strollers!
- a sensory table that could be filled with different objects like toys, slime, sand, etc.
- an interaction where you can hold an infant/toddler to an easel and get their hand/feet prints would be so cute
- inconveniences like kids throwing up on the floor, making puddles under high chairs in use, etc.
That hand/feet prints on the easel idea is soooo cute!
the hands and feet would be cool and people could use in their normal houses instead of daycare. also the mass produced items would be cheep and look like they came from ikea kind of like the beds in university. ooo what if you had a bed/crib conversion item that supports toddles & infants.
Some if not all of the cribs already convert to toddler beds
@@balicard342 no like you could click on the item to convert it not just change it to the next bed that looks similar
My number one request would be a band/ music expansion pack
That would be so fun. Especially if Sims team includes teens and/or collab with a band.
Honestly I feel that this would be a dream expansion pack.
nah, they need to make that base game. as with literally every other pack they’ve ever made
This would be amazing
oh my god yeessssssssss!!
Maybe a preschool/kindergarten pack or even elementary school pack would be so cool. So many things that kids do are missing like organized after school sports, dance/ballet, karate, other afterschool activities and summer camps, daycare, and more toys in general would be amazing. (Rocking horse, seesaw, separated board games that you can play on the floor, more stuffed animals etc)
Yesss that would be really fun
i used to play Sims Free Play as a kid and they had more stuff then The Sims 4. They had water slides, ballet, karate, elementary school, and i was able to send all the infants and toddlers to one house to “babysit”.
@@oddalina3363 I also played sims freeplay and the ballet and karate is something I really miss
High school years is such a mess I’m nervous about elementary
Yessssssssss! And you know who EA hired 2 years ago? ItsKatato, the modder who originally made the daycare mod Tumbling Tots! (It's not being maintained by a different modder now). I LOVE playing with daycares in the Sims 4, and I would love an official version in the game SO BAD.
this gives me an unreasonable amount of hope
I love it's katatos mods
OMG.. I didn’t know this! I really hope they use her for inspiration!! Because that mod was VERY popular
I want SKATEBOARDS AND MORE MUSIC EQUIPMENT
Fr we have like 10 different wall decorations for instruments that we don’t have 😂
Frr like no drum set or no bands like I thought we would get a band in high school pack smh
Same
i need drums 😭 i want my sims to be able to start an emo garage band 😢
All I want is skateboards!!
also i think a daycare stuff pack would be the perfect opportunity to add the imaginary friend back into Sims 4
sort of unrelated, but i'd love a career kit, we've only got the one gameplay kit anyway! it'd be just a bunch of rabbithole careers, but would add so much dimension and storytelling to the game! things like security guard, IT, statistician, accountant, music/art teacher, health/building inspector, full time construction, model, call centre clerk, idk!!! so many options
I love this idea!!
YES! we need wayy more careers im getting bored with the current ones all the time
Yeah, I always thought it was odd that Get To Work was just three careers that you had to put tons of effort into, rather than those 3 plus a few more rabbithole careers. They had the scope with that expansion to give us more careers but it was really quite limited when they only put in those 3.
I was thinking the exact same thing a career pack would be amazing even if most were made rabbit holes a couple active ones would be so cool it could be a game pack like the dream home deco pack, it could come with a small world with like a music shop lot as well as Mabey the retail system from get to work to own the music shop or art studio!
@@KittyCat260 we need the sequel, Get 2 Work LOL
as an early childhood educator, i NEED a daycare career so bad!!
It would be so fun! I’m an early childhood educator as well 🤗
There is its a part time job
@@Tsuki_St4r yeah, but it’s not childcare. babysitting is a job for teenagers looking to make a little money, childcare is about not only meeting their basic needs but also helping them to meet their developmental milestones, something that requires education. and i want it to be an active career, not a rabbit hole
Yesss we need our job represented!
I obsessively played the daycare mod for weeks and weeks... And now I'm in grad school, getting my MSW, and doing an internship at a therapeutic daycare.🥰I would love an official game, the mod gets weird sometimes.
Would be fun if we had a daycare career as well as a babysitter job (not a rabbithole) for teens, each with different interactions (for the teen it could be like: "sneak something from the fridge," "let child watch scary movie," etc). Combine this with some 90s decor and fashion and it would be incredible.
secretly a 90s babysitter horror movie -themed pack. I love it (please have it come with wall-mounted phones)
Ouu that’s amazing idea, I would love that!
I’d also LOVE a sims 4 elders pack. It could be called Sims 4 Bucket List or something and bring loads of new activities for elders to do (kinda like snowy escape has the different activities and collectibles as dose jungle adventure). They could have new ambitions like to be a “perfect grandparent”, to be “bucket list boss” or “young for their years” getting through loads of bucket list activities even if some were rabbit holes like to go skydiving, hang gliding, learn to surf, run a marathon. Just cool milestones and activities to do with them because right now it’s like elders only purpose is either be a grandparent, be an older version of an adult sim and carry on as normal, or (especially on short lifespan) just wait for them to d!3. I’d love elders to actually be able to do fun things just for them
i would LOVE this. i really love having grandparent sims around, but im sort of tired of them just knitting and doing gardening. i need MORE
Love this idea!
and it should have bigger card tables or bingo groups that at least 6-8 elders could play... they could send updates to the family while the elder/s are away at the center and then they could have event like bring your grandchild and do these things with them
edit: +board games and crafts that they could do with other grandparents or w/ their grandkids and they could make gifs for them. they could have side quest like you know your the cool grandparent etc. ooo now i want checkers
Sims 4: Parenting Escape sounds PERFECT
This is so funny
yes
We NEED toddler-sized tables and chairs. I often play with large families (currently doing the 100 baby challenge), and i am so sick of my toddlers having to eat on the couch/floor/bed while the rest of their family eats at the table 😢
I would also love to have play kitchens for toddlers, and a walker/bouncer for infants. Once they reach the sitting milestone, you could put them in there and they could play while working towards their standing milestone.
Just adding a booster seat for chairs would be nice! Toddlers in Sims 4 really do seem closer to 2-3 years old compared to other Sims games, and kids that age don't really sit in highchairs. Plus it would help differ toddlers from infants more. Like you CAN still put them in a high chair, but either the booster seat is an item you place on a chair or one that just "appears" like the stepstool for kids.
i want a roads rug so bad. you don't understand its my most wanted item in the sims 4 (also. as a daycare worker id love a daycare career)
would love is it was willow creek or something too!
Typically in daycares I've worked with, they use nap mats that are kind of a cross between a yoga mat and a sleeping bag/cot for nap time in their infant/toddler rooms. Would be a good addition to the daycare furniture style! Also would love to see a functional cubby item for storage, maybe a comfort item (would work kind of like the "adopt a caregiver" command) like a blankie or stuffed toy. I loved the imaginary friends feature in generations too so that would be awesome. Also curious about a preschool/homeschool option or skill that would work alongside the developmental milestones
Plot twist - TS4 team makes "daycare dreams" and implements everything except the workable daycare career
begging ea to pick this up AND BRING BACK THE IMAGINARY FRIENDS PLEEAAAASSSEEEEE
ik that will be such a controversial request but like i loved the imaginary friends sm in ts3 purely bc of how shocked and terrified i was as a little child suddenly seeing this TOY START WALKING AROUND LIKE A CLOWN AND BEING THE SAME SIZE AS MY SIMS and being like, cuddly but also threatening ….. yo….. it was just my kind of chaotic terrifying and i want. it. BACK!!!!
omg i had totally blocked that out of my memory
As a childminder (home daycare in the uk) I’d LOVE a pack like this! Because yeah I could play it, but it could also show how much fun this job can be while also highlighting the business side of it too. There’s so much that could be included. I’d also love an elders pack too as I end up being bored playing with elders.
Bands would be an awesome game pack maybe, I want more instruments soooooo bad
I haven't been able to get behind the fairy idea but THIS!!! YES !!!!
get this poor simmer a daycare pack 😭😭🙏
I could see you taking responsibility for specific infants/toddlers or children in the same way you hire employees for the other businesses. Each kid could have their own hours required, hourly rate and parental priorities - ie, assign weighting to milestones, skills, homework or relationships and then these priorities could help inform your star rating based on how well you met the kids needs and parental priorities that day. As you gain business points you could buy bonuses like expanding your client base, new interactions to boost skill gain and improved hourly rate.
What I want is a new preteen age. I feel like the difference between a child and a teen is very significant, while the age gap between a teen and a young adult is like two years in real time. Maybe a stuff pack for this too, and include a (rabbit hole, lets be realistic) middle school dynamic. Im currently in the eighth grade, and I feel like middle school is a very wild time for everyone, so we need preteen/middle school stuff pack!
The modder who made a daycare pack also made preteen as an age group and it's currently maintained by another modder since she was hired by EA. So if you are okay with mods it is a fun addition.
while we’re on the topic of things we’d love to see, i would love to see an update to the skills. not sure how it would work, but i find it weird that my sim could max the fitness skill as a young adult, and never work out ever again, but even as an elder they’d still be level 10. maybe if skills started to slowly decay over time, or if your sim could be “rusty” when starting out again on an old skill they used to be the master of.
-One of my favourite things in the sims3 was if you put a teddy bear in the baby's/toddler's/child's inventory they would get a happy moodlet when sleeping that said 'Sleepy Snuggles: Ahhh, there's nothing like cuddling up with your fuzzy friend.' or something like that! I LOVED it and I always took so long to pick out the perfect bear when there was a baby on the way!
-The playpen, toddler walker, and baby swing were super OP. I didn't really use the baby swing coz it meant the baby was always asleep and boring lol. And honestly, most of my babies and toddlers were pretty much nocturnal coz of how much the walker and playpen filled needs hahahaha.
-I loved getting them to play with all of the toddler/child toys and getting the 3 level skill maxed coz you got soooo many skill boosts as teens and adults!
-YES WE NEED THE CLASSIC ROAD/TOWN RUG!!!!!! I use the green one (with like trees and wolves or whatever it is lol) from Outdoor Retreat a lot for that purpose, and place it in front of the doll houses to make like a lil toy town kinda thing hahaha
-I'd like more Voidcritter themed stuff. You know how kids take one thing (Paw Patrol/Frozen/Marvel/Hey Dugee/Peppa Pig) and make it their entire personality? And every gift they get for the next three years is only that thing? I want stuff like that. Like give me the kid idols of the sims. Like omgggg looking back and seeing the stuff my niblings (and also myself lolllllll Teletubbies and The Tweenies) were obSESSED with is SOOO CUTE OMGGGG LOOK AT THE KIDDOS!!!!!!!!!
I would love a pack like this! Also, the one thing that I miss from TS3 is the imaginary friends. They were creepy but I loved them. Really miss them in TS4.
Along with all these awesome ideas, I would LOVE if we had the option to play as the nanny/au pair!! It could sort of work like the dream home decorator career where you have clients and have to meet certain goals by the end of the day, like helping a child do a project/homework, helping a toddler raise a skill, or just doing housekeeping things like laundry and dishes 😂
That would be a fun addition! Especially if you also have parenthood and growing together.
Absolutely LOVE the PowerPoints when she has points to make 😂
Oh the CAS could have 'mucky' swatches where the kids come and go from daycare in clothes covered in food and paint cause that would be so real 😂😂😂
12:13 TS4 should bring back the bears that slot into the cribs in TS3 that you can name and they would move around randomly for the toddlers and children. I loved that bear and the fact that it could randomly move
As a daycare teacher (infants to school agers) if there were to be a new skill instead of it being “childcare skill”, it could be “teaching skill”. A lot of being a daycare teacher is teaching, with the infants not so much, but with the one year olds and up, yes. I’m a one year old teacher, and we do a craft everyday, have circle time (learn shapes, colors, animals, sign language, ABC etc.), we’re playing/dancing most of the day, plus the taking care of needs like snack/lunch/bottles to diapers and nap time. So seeing that in a stuff pack like this would be very cool, yet, I’d love to see more of the teaching abilities.
I just want a whole pack dedicated to hobby crafts. Glassblowing, jewelry-making, quilting, pottery, etc.
I would love to be able to assign Nannies in the sims 4. Like I want to designate my sim’s mom to babysit her grandchildren when my sim goes to work and it’s SO DUMB that she can’t
this!!
Kayla: who is nearly brought to tears with the 100 baby challenge
Also Kayla: “I want to run a daycare”
It would make so much sense……teen job perfection.
I would love a stuff pack that has 3 or 4 careers including an active and non active day care career along with other careers like singer or model
I recently learned about the Sad Beige Mom style, and I thought it was cute but not worth messing with your kid's mind. Since having it in a video game will not permanently damage the kiddos, we should have the muted style in the Sims 4. A bunch of cool toned swatches with one or two colorful ones.
Yes to daycares! I have wanted this for a long time!! It should have been included with Growing Together! Growing Together was basically a glorified $40 world with free infants added.
I just thought of a specific item I want so bad now. Those kitchens we had as kids. It was all plastic and you'd play house. It'd be so cute to see that in the sims
YES YES YES and Pet Sitting! 😃I think it would be great if your Sim could send their pet to Doggy Daycare when they go on vacation and it would be a really fun career as well 👶🐶
I DESPERATELY want a stuff pack or a kit with clothing from the Victorian era, or anytime between the 1800’s to the 1910’s
I would love a Daycare Pack, I love your video on a Hotel Expansions Pack - this needs to happen! Also an Elders pack - more for the elders as well, they get forgotten and I definitely agree more for infants and kids in general - we need more activities and toys etc. I love your videos so much they really cheer me up x
this is such a well-made, well thought out video! i never really thought of a daycare pack before, but now im totally sold on the idea
I can't wait for The Sims 4: Luv 2 Daycare 🙏
Btw, the slides design theme was SO cute
Carl's sims guides are the G.O.A.T!!! OMG these were my holy grail/Bible for picking sims packs and learning the features if them. Remember when the sims used to have a physical manual book? I miss those days 😂 I ❤ your sweater btw, very rainbow pastel vibes like your build the other day 😂
I wish kids didnt just disappear but were driven to school via bus. Just some kind of animation to show they arent thanos-snaping out of the sims but are actually going to school. It could be all cute with the parents going outside and waving goodbye
THANK U IVE WANTED THIS FOR YEARS
I love that super cute sweater matching the whole vibe/aesthetic of your presentation
omg yes and she looks so cute on that sweater
Me, nodding along: yes, infants are basicaly tiny ghosts, go on
Love all of these ideas! I would love a daycare pack and also one for elder sims. I feel like their life options are lacking. As far as the infants, I would LOVE to see a stroller! I feel like that is something that is a no brainer. Who doesn't love to go for a nice walk with your baby?
I really love that cardigan/jumper you're wearing! It's so cute!
If this pack did come true you know it would never work, you've included features from dine out (half broken) and toddlers (testy as heck) infants (also testy) you have big dreams Kayla and I respect that.
I really want this now! Businesses are my fav thing in Sims 4 and we need more of them
Yeah this is definitely something they should do! I love that they have been listening to us a little bit too. I am excited to see whats next, anf ive been loving all the content of what we have now!
I would love a daycare pack too! I also had a great idea for a garage stuff pack that would satisfy the car "need" but not actually involve driving around (as that probably won't ever happen). It could have a "mechanic" aspect instead so you'd have a busted up car to fix (like in sims 2) and then it could have other stuff that people do in garages like a pool table and bands, so like a drum kit and speakers for blasting music and getting on your families nerves 😂
I would love a system where Sims can loan money from a bank, also more aspirations (maybe a selfcare/selflove aspiration?) and hobbies (pottery, more sports, more instruments)
kaylas outfits have been so cute lately, that top looks sooo cute on her
I would love a daycare pack. I also feel like a band stuff or game pack would be fun! You could have people in your household play gigs together, require different musicians etc
Spent so much of this video trying to decide if that was the same sweater as one I own, and in the closing spiel, I finally landed on yes!
I’d love a Daycare career and pack!!! I was the same - in the sims 3 the only way I found around the forced maternity leave was to keep quitting your job and then starting again in the same career but you’d always lose progress and it would still take a lot longer to get through career levels than the male sims. I loved having stay at home dads or having one mom carry the pregnancy with no job or on leave and then the other mom stays home with the baby so mom 1 can make some career progress but it was so finicky
I get so excited with Kayla's power point presentations 🤣❤️
A fun aspect to this back would include in home nanny. So it would include a work from home option, off site interactive career like in get famous, and the option to work at the parent’s home.
I love this whole video. Everything mentioned in this video would be amazing. I want more kids toys like a play kitchen and workbench for kids and the ability to bring stray pets inside
I love this- it's cute and funny like a lot of your vids! We stan sims 4 lol
I would definitely be interested in a pack like this! We definitely need more stuff, hair, clothes ect for infants and toddler's, maybe even the option for your sims to go to mummy and me groups and I used to love that play pen in sims 3, I definitely miss that lol
I’d definitely love this kind of gameplay!! Speaking of active/in-home businesses, I wish there was a way to have those in general? Like maybe assign a lot trait but manage it like in Get to Work, but assign just a section of your home to it (element from For Rent). I’m pretty sure there’s a mod for that, but I would’ve liked to have that already come with released DLC!
when it comes to the sims never say never, like i didn’t ever think we’d get horses or infants but we did!
I think a daycare pack would be brilliant, ideas ive had and want to see are, strollers, cars, funerals, weather warnings (like tornados or heavy snow etc) firefighter career, paramedic career where you can call for an ambulance and have a chance to save your sims, more pets like rabbits and ferrets, more wildlife like deers ❤
lilsimsie literally has one of the best ideas for packs in the sims, its so crazy.
Love this idea! I would love to build a home where two sisters have a joint daycare and they live in separate houses on the lot. There could be playground in the backyard that they share 😊
i played with the daycare career mod and its soooo fun. i actually might put it back in my game
Which one would you recommend
@@clairemartin3042 i think it was called tumbling tots daycare co. it came with a home daycare career almost exactly like the one in the sims 3 and it also came with a daycare lot type where you could go run a daycare at a set building. you can build your own daycare and visit with your toddlers after hours to give them some friends!
@@clairemartin3042 tumbling tots co. active daycare!! it was great, there was a home daycare system a lot like the one from TS3 generations as well as a daycare lot (and lot type) to travel to if you'd rather play as a more traditional daycare teacher. if i remember correctly it was updated so infants can go to daycare as well. as you progress through the career you get more kids and age ranges. it is VERY well made and maxis match, its exactly the gameplay that you'd think a daycare game pack would come with!! you can even visit the daycare lot with your kids to skill build during non work hours or as a sim who isn't in the career.
I just thought about me raising twins in the sims right now and couldn’t even do that because everything glitches especially with infants and toddler. 😅 I loved your presentation ❤️
In Sims 3, the daycare job was my favorite job and I usually had my adults have that job. I would usually have a family run the daycare so it would be a husband and wife and they would have their kids and then they took care of the daycare. Usually the daycare part was on the first floor and then they would go up a circular staircase, which we of course don’t have, and upstairs was where the family lived.
It usually started out with just a couple of toddlers, and then eventually there would be about six toddlers and then, when your Sims reach a certain level, they could start taking in children and they would come and your Sims would help them with their homework. I would make a playground with a fence around that was only accessible through the house. I would have a room for the toddlers to sleep in and a bathroom full of toddlers toilets there was usually several high chairs and a room with toys and a tv. I always thought that it was cute to see the parents walking down the sidewalk carrying the toddlers to the daycare. And at the end of the day the parents would walk in and pick up their babies and leave. Occasionally a parent would call saying that they were going to be late. Of course, my Sims got paid extra for that. Occasionally too a Parent would contact to ask if my Sims could babysit on a Saturday or a Sunday. And that paid extra too.
I LOVED that job!
I think a dance stuff pack would be so cool! Imagine having dance equipment and outfits for different genres of dance like ballet, jazz, etc.
Maybe a new skill connected to daycare could be like the 'caregiver' skill, which you raise by caring for the needs of others.
I’ve always been waiting a royalty pack with more castle build items and cas items. Like I’ve always thought of it having titles and stories that you can play out. I just think a royalty pack would be at the top of my list for a sims pack :)
Daycare stuff and preschool years are my faves.. I wish sims team would make this pack WITH simsie. It would be perfect
Daycare, Elders, Infant Packs and of course FAIRIES!!!
I'm right there with you lilsimsie, bring on the daycare pack!! I've wanted a daycare pack since sims 4 came out
I was about to compliment the sweater because it's extremely cute and then at the end Kayla says that she bought it to match the presentation 😂 amazing idea indeed 🎉❤
I feel like a good way to do it would be like a registry of parents, like the tenants list, so you can see their pay limit, their active hours, some info on the kid.
So the work hours and pay depends on what the parents are willing to pay, and a designated baby time hours.
Could also be used for a nanny career this way in case someone doesn't want to do a full daycare.
I literally work at a Daycare and love taking care of Toddlers and Infants in the Sims 4, so I would absolutely love the idea of a Daycare career!!
This and something for actual elder sims. With like taking care of them and all that kind of stuff will fit in with the game perfectly. I am all for it! 🤗
IDEA!: adding on, what if it was a bigger pack; “Home Education”. You can be your kids teacher and run school for your own kids at home, run a daycare from your house, babysit cousins or niece/nephews, etc. OPINIONS?❤
I would love a daycare pack! Something else I have been dying for is the admission ticket thing from Sims 2 Open For Business where people paid to enter your store. If we had this in the game, we could still pretend we ran a daycare - and so many other things!
I am SO HERE FOR THIS! Talking about the cribs, this pack would be perfect for a Pack n Play or portable crib!! Something that would make sense in a living room. Also I know you said you don’t care about the adult cas but hear me out… rainbow art teacher vibes.
I loved that weird little doll kids were gifted via the mailbox in TS3. It would be cool to have something similar, maybe in the shape of a teddy bear or a doll, that a baby could play with when laying on their back, or a toddler could talk to and sing to.
Pre-K years or headstart years would be so cute!
I work at a daycare and it would be so fun to and pretend to work at a daycare when they get me sick (literally have pink eye rn from them)!
With the For Rent addition of designation rooms they might be able to carry over some of that so you can designate certain rooms as a daycare space in your house 11:45
You know you're in for a good video when Kayla shows up with a PowerPoint!
I would LOVE a daycare/infant kit/stuff pack!!❤
Between Clubs, the current business/restuarant figure, and For Rent's ability to have clients--this could really work out well. I'd be happy to have it as a Stuff Pack!
I work at a daycare so having my job and the items that I use on a regular basis in the game would be both fun and torture 😂 but I live for the chaos honestly
I like all of your ideas Kayla. We do need more to do with toddlers and kids. TS4 seems to be more heavily focused on the young adult/ adult stage and we should see more for the other life stages too. Now I want to play with the day care career in TS3. I don't think I played with it yet.
I love how you use screenshots from your let’s play.
simsie your cardigan is reminding my of that one highschool years cropped-sweatshirt
dream home daycare kinda sounds like live laugh love to me and i find it really funny
I completely agree that we need a daycare. We also need a lot more things for the infants maybe a stroller or a jumper because we can only put them down on their mat or in a bed and it’s pretty boring playing with them when there’s nothing you can do with them. I also think we need an elderly pack to where we have a nursing home or you can run a nursing home.
