  • I made over 90 pottery videos in the past three months! Today's video covered many aspects of pottery making while making an 10-inch casserole dish. The handles are unique and were made from a silicone mould mold and melds perfectly with the simplicity of a casserole dish. The video is in four sections and you can skip ahead to parts you are interested in!

About 9 years ago I took my very first pottery class. Since then, I was hooked to the finer arts of wheel-throwing and hand-building with clay. Now, I have my own pottery studio at home where I spend my time making pottery. I will continue onwards to make my own videos to share my various experiences with the craft of pottery making. I hope that this will be very interesting to you and that it helps you with making your own pottery journey.

Brand new to pottery here. I'm quite fascinated by how you made that gallery -- very different than I was taught!! A very different style, but I like it! Would like commentary to understand what you are doing...also you are the neatest potter I have ever seen!!

Thank you, I am not quite done yet, and eventually, I will make a studio tour video with tips. Good luck with your clay journey!

Can you tell me what clay body you used. Very nice work.

I combined white frost and black ice porcelain clay in equal parts, resulting in a soft-to-throw clay body that gives the final product a grey appearance.
