    High carbon steel would have been a better choice than stainless steel.

      I think sea conditions and being close to bodies of salt water and areas with higher humidity could also be factors with stainless being more rust resistant then high carbon

      It sucks that he cut a live tree just to show a knife. And not a great knife at that. 420 steel?

    Stainless steel? Really? Why didn't you make this out of high carbon steel or spring steel or any kind if actual weapons grade steel?

    • @clinteastwood3356
      @clinteastwood3356 Před 8 lety +7

      You can easily have working weapons made from stainless steel. I own this knife and I can tell you its solid. If you saw how thick and sturdy this was you wouldn't be complaining about the steel. Trust me, all types of steel have their purpose.

      this blade is solid. dont let uneducated comments steer you away from this product. for its purpose, combat, this blade WILL perform. it may not be a survival blade due to its 420 custruction. it won't hold an edge long, but its ease of sharpening gives it the versitility to be a good camping knife. its weight is a slight downside in combat and training use, however being nearly a 1/4 thick blade that is full tang, it will not fail use very easily. with all that said make your own decisions! never let some youtube troll decide for you on any product. go by unbiased reviews on regulated sites where you can purchase such equipment. there you wont find ignorant harping from loud mouthed children whove only ever used a kitchen knife. over and out.

    • @RainMakeR_Workshop
      @RainMakeR_Workshop Před 7 lety +4

      Tristan Baranyi uneducated? Really? first of all, don't be a dick! secondly, weapons grade steel is called that for a reason. thirdly I use knives daily and have had my life literally saved by them, I know my blades and I know what will last and what will break through experience.
      though I'm sure you or someone else will just reply with some typical trolling aggressive bs instead of trying to have respect.
