Shiki (Four Seasons) [Take 3] - (Taeko Onuki & Ryuichi Sakamoto Cover) | "a Good Time"

Taeko Onuki's original composition titled "Shiki" from the album, "UTAU", which was recorded by Onuki herself and Ryuichi Sakamoto in 2010.
It's a brilliant piece which expresses the change of seasons in Japan with its beautiful lyrics and delicate piano arrangement.
The video portrays scenes of people encountering each other, through the use of time overlaps expressed by each performer being shot separately inspired by the lyric, "faint dream", as a motif.
The time created by the delicate touch of pianist, Saaya Matsumoto, during a live recording held in the early summer of 2020 when society was surrounded with uncertainty, brings a certain comfort.
A long year with four beautiful seasons and our daily lives which flow steadily. Can't help but hope to cherish the continuation of such small repetitions.

"Episode III", recorded at Jazz Inn New Combo, one of Japan's long standing jazz clubs in Fukuoka.
