Yesssssssss Because I could never figure out how to do the crochet needle with adding in micro locks. But I kept looking for a way to do it without that 0.5 or 75 tool you get off Amazon so this is so great

Thank you! I used the ley locs method to do my install. While I love them and do not have any regrets some of them are bumpy because I snagged them with my nails. I was thinking of removing them and replacing with already made extensions, but the crochet method looks difficult and easy to mess up and have slippage. I always thought the extensions looked nicer and this method look doable for me.

Awesome.. same way im about to install mines. My locs are the same length as hers but i want more length. You did it the same way i do them. Beautiful work❤❤❤❤i even go as far as titiing up with my crochet tool.

I usually do all rotations depending on that loc

Ok thank y out I’m going to go watch those ones so I can learn I wanna start mine this way now after these are done do you interlock at the root or do you just do a re twist when it’s time for a retwist

Can this be done on a new microloc install? & are you changing the direction of the microloc tool?
It can! And the direction of the tool is going 2 to 4 directions. Just depends on what I can do in the area

I’m not sure
Can those extensions ever be taken out without messing up the ends of the original locs?
No you would have to cut the extensions and comb out the rest from the ends

I’m honestly not sure. I usually tell the client their loc count but forget on my end

I created the extensions
How long do these last? Cna they be left in forever?
Yes but I recommend to start trimming them away after 5/6 years so it’ll eventually be all your hair

I'm thinking what if the sistetlock size ones u did a 4 part braid it's circular like an actual sisterlock

Her hair will mess in with the extensions yes.

You have to pull it tight and kind of move the hair hair past the knot. I hope that make sense
