You forgot to mention that you must hit start to exit anemone or the theme will not apply.

also I had to re install the theme each time I turn my 3ds on, why is that?
I fixed it, you just power it down and then press the home button
I just restart my console, I think it's safer

When I want to change themes do I Hold A to install even though it's already installed on my 3ds? I downloaded two themes and want to switch between them sometimes but tapping on theme or selecting it on the touch pad does nothing, only when I select hold to install. I'm afraid I'm installing multiple of the same files or is this how you switch themes in Anemone?
go on anemone then go to the theme you would want and then press x hold dpad then let go of x
then press 1

so when i was modding my 3ds when i closed the menu it got rid of my theme and now i cant use the menu settings so the anemone cant work now the hell do i do
Hi. Do you know how to change the launch screen like when you launch a game where the animated "nintendo 3ds" shows up? It would be much cooler if you can change that when launching the game.
that's called a splash. you'll want a new "splash" found on that same theme site..
I have a question, in April they will turn off internet connection for the 3ds, can you still be able to download the games if that happen or should I download everything from now before it happen ??
Even after online functionality gets shut off, you should still be able to re-download your games. But I would still recommend doing so before it gets shut off.
Thank you so much for taking time to answer my question, if i may ask i have another question, i downloaded Hatsune Miku through custom install and whenever i launch the game the 3ds crashes and a message appear says "An exception occurred ARM11 (core 1) / Exception type: undefined instruction" i tried to download a newer version of Luma and replace the old one but the issue is not fixed, "note this is only happening with Hatsune Miku game only, the other games works just fine.@@EvanTetro
Is there a way to go back to the original theme? I’m feeling nostalgic so I wanna use the original theme
yeah go to the home page, and click your settings in the top left (looks like a house and a wrench), change theme, and just select the one you want

My camera broke. I already know how to install it via the SD card and a file download. Buy maybe a guide for others who might still have use of it if they don't have a working back camera of the 3ds. Or if they prefer to do it via the SD card for personal reasons with for example themes not from the theme manager website?

Hey man I was wondering you could help me, I downloaded a theme on my 2ds xl selected it and now every time I open my 2ds xl it play for a split second then freezes and I’m unable to do anything, I’ve deleted the theme and deleted anemone but the theme still stays

Does anyone know if I can also get the japanese themes? I want a vocaloid theme that is called melancholic, but I couldn't find it on the website :(
HShop has the original themes and there's mega threads of original themes on Reddit, it's pretty hard to find Japanese themes though at least from my experience

mine says theme extdata does not exist set a default theme from the home menu n then press A to quit can someone PLEASE help me😭
idk if you figured it out but you just have to go to the home screen, click the button in the top left (house and spanner), let it load, select default theme (if not already selected). Then use anemone.
Nice video, but there's 1 problem. My 2ds back cameras crashes the system.

When I go on the application it says "Theme extdata does not exist! Set a default theme from the home menu." and its not giving me an option to qr scan
