- Ups and downs in life happen to all of us, here is Ashley Riley's story of how she has persevered to accomplish her goals. Congrats and keep it up Ashley!
Amazing resilience , great vision and a true achiever!
This is the truth!
I am 20 years old with a toddler. After I graduated high school, I did not go straight into college like the rest of my friends and family. It made me really depressed because I felt like I was behind. But truly, I did not know my passion in life yet. I've always knew that I was meant to be in the health field. When I was pregnant, I loved going to my ultrasound appointments and I think thats where my love for sonography developed. I was born and raised in Sacramento, and running across this video was like a miracle to me. I can't wait to pursue my dreams in sonography! Thank you for this amazing video Ashley and congrats on beating cancer!
You got it girl!
I am 15 about to be 16 years old and I want to become a sonographer and I’ve been taking as many notes as possible, reading as many books as possible (even finished some books in just one day) to help me when I do go to college so it won’t be as hard on me and everyday taking notes helps me stay motivated to going into college for sonography and listening to other people stories really helps me and your story means a lot to me and really helped motivate me even more.
that sounds amazing, how is the journey coming along?
So inspiring...I actually shed a tear... That feeling you get when you finally FINALLY fulfil your dreams is AMAAZING...I am in that process right now and listening to you, and against all odds, I am more encouraged to keep going and never to give up...
Congratulations! I also recently got admitted to SUI and I’m very excited to start my new journey! I found the SUI team so helpful through the application process. I met Armine in person for the first time and she was so sweet and welcoming. I’m grateful for the opportunity, and I’m happy to see you follow your dream. Wishing you the best!
This is ME!! Everything she says is my exact situation.
congratulations! this gives me a bit of hope, im in the dms program and recently was diagnosed with MS .
This was an amazing video. Thank you Ashley. Your dreams will come to fruition!
omg! we have some things in common. I remember my cousin forcing me to get into nursing but it wasn't my passion. I had to drop out of school due to some personal reasons. Now i want to start with Medical Assistant and work my way to sonography. I have young children. All the best in your journey.
Amazing story! Did she work during the program?
