Many have the illusion that America is the place they see in the movies. When I explained how expensive it is and how long we work each day and sometimes multiple jobs they're shocked. In many ways our culture sucks compared to the laid back life that they have. They're sold on the material things and a huge salary of $10-$12 an hour not realizing that they are worse off living here. I just had a garage built. I would not agree to the deal with the contractor until he proved to me that he employed no illegals.
